This is Persona 5 for the PlayStation 4 running on a PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility. On base PS4, Persona 5's resolution is 1080p and the framerate is locked at 30fps. A PS4 Pro update was never made for P5, so 1080p30 is what you will get while playing this game on PS5. If you're wanting a 4K experience, then there's always Persona 5 Royal. That game runs at 4K30 on PS4 Pro. So why play Persona 5 (instead of Persona 5 Royal) on PlayStation 5 if it already ran perfectly on PS4? The biggest reason is I want to get the Platinum Trophy for this game. Another reason is I'm curious to see how well this game performs on PS5. Backwards compatibility isn't always perfect, so while I'm playing to get all the trophies, I figure it'd be good to test performance to make sure there aren't any crashes too. Persona 5 originally released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 15, 2016. It would later launch worldwide on PS3 and PS4 on April 4, 2017. This is Part 1 of my playthrough of Episode 2: Turf Wars from Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered for the PlayStation 5. This is a no commentary playthrough. Like my playthrough of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, the difficulty is set to Ultimate for this gameplay walkthrough. The City that Never Sleeps DLC takes place a few months after the events of the base game. This DLC is split into three story-based chapters: The Heist, Turf Wars, and Silver Lining. This portion of the gameplay walkthrough takes place in the Turf Wars chapter. The Graphics Mode is set to Performance RT. With this mode selected, you can play Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered in 60fps with ray tracing enabled. When Performance RT mode is selected, "the scene resolution, reflection quality, and pedestrian density" are decreased. The resolution is a dynamic 4K, although the base resolution is lower than the other two modes. The frame rate for Performance RT mode is 60fps. The other two modes are Fidelity mode and Performance mode. Fidelity mode runs the game at 4K30 with ray tracing. Performance mode (the one without ray tracing) runs in a dynamic resolution at almost 4K and as low as 1440p and 60fps. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Thanks for watching!
