Paper Mario TTYD: Throwback Pro Mode - Chapter 2
Chapter 2! The enemies here aren't too much trouble, but it's definitely starting to get interesting under these rules.
**Note: I used an Ice Storm against Magnus thinking it was similar enough to a Snowman Doll from 64, and that's... debatable... but I believe either way I would've been fine without the 1 turn of freeze. I mean, it is Magnus, anyways.
Throwback Pro Mode is a variant of the Throwback challenge run. In this run, you are only allowed to use items, badges, mechanics, etc. that are shared between 64 and TTYD. The Pro Mode aspect comes in primarily by applying Double Pain on top of that.
Core Challenge Rules:
-All items, badges, star powers, and moves with the same or equivalent properties may be used.
-This includes Piercing Blow and D-Down Hammer, Earth Tremor and Star Storm, and Bob-Ombast and Mega Bomb, to name a few examples.
-No superguards or stylish commands

magnus-2.0-(level-3)
Strategy I enjoyed for beating Magnus 2.0 at "Level -3" stats. (Technically, Level -2.8, this is 1HP, 0FP, 0BP.)
Uses 5 items: Shooting Star (2x), Life Shroom (3x)
Requires RNG of getting a 41% chance Clock Out on Turn 3, as well as getting a +3ATK Power Lift on /either/ use (T2 or T6) and at least +2ATK on the other, and +2DEF on the second use T6. Otherwise, no other RNG is required.
I used save states in the video to simulate getting the Clock Out on all three targets. (It's a 89.6% chance for each Fist, and a 51.2% chance for Magnus)

Of all the Minor League fights, this one I think is actually pretty interesting with such high HP. Not being able to one hit the Lakitu means it could be quite a problem. I use Clock Out in this fight, but only once, and I think here it's valid. There's not many ways to get rid of the spikiness on its head once it uses it, so doing that to allow Goombella to Multibonk seemed fair. I try not to abuse Clock Out too much in this run, though, as that could get very stale very fast.
