I never thought of myself as a bodybuilder. It is like the person with an economics degree...... when are you an Economist? Well, you are what you do. I'm building my body, therefore..... but bodybuilding is pretty stereotypical, "you need to do light weight for huge volume". I just never bought that line. Maybe it is because I like lifting heavy. Either way, I exhibit extreme power for my small stature (5 ft 9, 150 lbs). I just PR"d deadlifts today, adding 40 lbs to my previous max all at minimum body fat.
I desire to defy what is 'acceptable' or common advice. My brand is all about LEAN + POWER. so in that we talk about TUT time under tension. ANd in this, Revival Fitness makes a good point. We generally see eye to eye and dismiss the BS that keeps people from making good progress in the gym.
TUT is usually an excuse for you to waste your time and....... okay, i dont care. It is an excuse, I don't need to explain it further.
Do it if you can go into muscle failure.
