Meejah. What's Happening
Meejah and Covid 19 Coronavirus pandemic is sweeping the world, a modern day plague.
Here in the UK, people of a certain venerable age (Very old), like me, have been told to self isolate, we have to avoid going out, stay at home not invite people to visit. so as you can imagine, being incarcerated at home 24/7 means that I have a lot of spare time that I didn't know I had!
What to do with it? - I thought "Why not make another One-Man-Mini-Movie? So that's what I did! Check out this video for the full details.

I've had loads of requests to show how to do a muzzle flash effect using Windows LIVE Movie Maker - So, that's what we'll do in this episode.
Way back in the mists of time, I did a video showing how to do this effect using the Old style MovieMaker. Now, although the technique is exactly the same, it seems that people are having difficulty in adapting it to the LIVE version of MovieMaker - So, let's sort that out now - by the way, to do this, you will need a copy of Paint.Net and a gunshot sound effect, so I've put links for free downloads to them both above here:

Easy Horror Movie Effects.
You know, most newbie film makers tend to make their first movie a Horror movie, and why not. They're great fun to do, cheap to make and have a ready audience amongst the millions of horror fans out there. they do of course, by their nature, require special effects which can be complicated and expensive to produce. But in this episode I'm going to show you, not so much an effect, but a very simple technique straight out of the age of Hammer Horror films, which will allow you to produce some amazing effects. The technique is simply reversal of the video footage, and I show you two sample effects here, but the potential is limitless - you can produce hundreds of effects once you understand how it works. No fancy editors are required either. If your editor can reverse video you're in business, and even if it can't, a quick Google search for "free online video reversal" will throw up plenty of results to choose from. Why not try the technique out for yourself and send us a link to your video in the comments section.
