The enemy has 3 units hidden in the fog that we must destroy. I did not immediately realize that they cannot defend themselves and approach them with extreme prejudice thinking that they can. However, it is actually simpler than I make it out to be. The only thing that may make this a little difficult is locating everything in the time limit, but you can see that despite my mistake here, I was still able to come around and complete it within the time limit. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnEO0_hxyFM
Even though we are against Sturm here, I still think this is one of the test maps, where missiles got some strenuous use to see if the AI would join units properly or something. It could be calculating something related to powers too.
Sturm has loads of tanks that are looking to wreck Sami's day, and my defense is abusing infantry and her capture rate. By wounding the tanks with missiles, we are able to trade slightly more favorably. This will allow me to produce enough units to start to overwhelm them, and then they go down to the death by a thousand cuts. The missiles will not count towards Sturm's power, allowing you to avoid a lot of meteors compared to taking them head on (another point in my test map theory).
On paper this one can seem pretty scary, but for the most part, the hard maps are behind us. Once we get out of the test maps, there may be a dangerous spike, but we're pretty much coasting to the finish now.

We get to pick up a new character immediately at the beginning of this chapter, which is becoming a rarer and rarer event. Other than that, this is when the shops finally get stocked, and the NG+ and beyond items finally become available. This includes being able to see how your affinities have fallen and how to recruit more characters so you can adjust going forward. I will be using this to grab the final characters outside of ending routes, so when it is all said and done, the only characters I will be missing are Trish and Milo.
Otherwise, the goal here is still to force your way into the castle where the same scenes play out. We have the resources to secure the map and I can use the opportunity to farm, which doesn't really pay off. In order to grind or gather resources, the bar missions are going to be your best bet until we get further into the game.

With all other attempts exhausted, in this part we are forced to leave the capital in search of the various power stations that Avalon has constructed to determine if they really can output as much energy as they claim they can. However, Eleanor begins to lose her nerve as we get closer and closer...

The patrol continues as we hit all of the old haunts and marvel at the city in 3D. Some of the load screens have changed and a district has been lost, but the place is even more bustling than ever before.

I am trying to put her name in the title so people are not confused about the route. Anyway, in this one we happen to run into her at a cafe and get her to wear the one piece of cosplay that excites so many fans. I went ahead and made it the thumbnail for you guys just to show that I sometimes care.

With our ability to cross mountains now, there are new enemy strongholds we have access to, and we kick things off with Pandemonium. I think this is the last time the group gets separated and has to operate independently, throwing switches and such to allow them to converge before forcing their way out. There are a few bosses we have to crush in our attempt to stop the enemy's plan to unleash the Darkness Tear. If all goes according to plan, we will be sending them back to the drawing board for their next plot...

Jack's ultimate weapon is still a little ways away, but we can get him something sooner if you don't mind the luck penalty (don't use luck moves with it). Returning to Saint Centour, you will find in the corner of the town that a blind woman is living there. Since the place is still overrun with monsters, she cannot survive there alone. When we look into who is taking care of her, the flag is triggered and Zed is waiting for us when we leave. Upon beating him, Jack gets his sword, and you get the choice on whether to let him live or die. In the remake, if you let him live, he will join you. Here, it doesn't affect anything anyway. In the end, we go the heroic route as expected since someone is counting on him.

This one can be a little tedious, but luckily it is short. At the oasis, Hikari and Agnea meet a performer who continually hits them up for small amounts of money to perform a song. They do get the song in the end, which was not as I expected things to go here. If there is some sort of reference in the song, I'm afraid I did not get it.

We complete the entire story segment here as it is a bit on the brief side. Sadly, I found steering the sandships to be really annoying as at times, they simply would not budge or went the opposite direction. Luckily, the times here are generous enough to compensate for it and the minigame is not really required past recruiting Scarlet.
The major glitch in this part has to do with winning the initial race. There are three different items you can get for winning, with the one I show here on my second attempt to verify that the thing can be won at all being the worst. Most likely, the stats on the first and third place items are backwards, meaning if you want the best item statistically, you need to do poorly on the race.
As for the recruitment here, Cabana just needs a headquarters upgrade as he will run the hot spring for you. Talk to him and he'll join.
Stadler requires you to a win a minigame against him, and in all seriousness, he seems to be the first place where the strategic combat system actually comes into play. Remember that all of the ones we did prior to now were scripted... You're supposed to be able to do more with him, but I haven't tried yet to see if there are rewards for the different drills. The important thing is that Stadler will give EXP to the characters you are not using so no one falls too far behind.
As for Scarlet, you just need to beat her time in the race minigame after the initial one. I'm not a fan, but like I mention earlier, they are generous enough with the time to make this less complicated than it needs to be.
So from here, we will be going on a recruitment drive for all of the characters that needed items prior to now. This will include an optional dungeon and basically everything to wrap up Nowa's story before we have to hop over to one of the other MCs of the tale.
