It seems that there's lots of secrets going around and Weiss is willing to share quite a few of them. For one, code can be etched into stone and that stone can be considered a very valuable item. Two, Weiss' awesome makeover is actually a curse! And finally, the Emperor wants L'Arc to kill... Eesa! That... is a pretty tall order, but... with L'Arc and friends able to draw all the cards in their hand, whose to say that they can't give it a shot...

This is why Ganon doesn't want to be in the pit, it really does burn! I'm really digging the stage creator in this game because of the crazy stage designs you can have now! Expect to see more creations sooner than later.
P.S. Can you spot the slacker in this fight?

Streets of Rage is owned by SEGA. Game is developed by DotEmu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games, published by DotEmu. Characters belong to their respective creators.
NOTE: This stream was done before the BIG update (1.03/1.04) on 9/7/2020. Experiences showcased in this stream will be considerably different from the gameplay you will get with the latest version.
The Cargo Ship is where things start to get a little interesting in terms of level layout. Currently, the game has been introducing small unique factors since the first level. For this game, we get introduced to hazardous explosive barrels that can be used against your opponents or may blow up in your face if you aren't careful. While this isn't exactly a new concept, it can make some segments either easier or harder, depending on your approach. Also, Dylan's cousin Francis is another officially upgraded enemy that can cause you a hassle thanks to his aerial prowess. Last but not least, we get the re-introduction of Big Ben in this game. Interestingly enough, he has super armor when he runs across the screen, making him a very annoying problem throughout the game (This is THANKFULLY patched out in the latest balance patch).
The new concepts come on the latter half of the stage. For one thing, we are introduced to the game's and series' ONLY 2D segment. In that there is only one line that everyone is on and it leads to an interesting and tricky challenge. Positioning and actions become more important as you can't just move on another axis out of the way. It's a clever nod to some two-dimensional beat 'em ups like Ninja Warriors.
Then there's THAT boss fight... Certainly one that's not easy to explain in words.

After clobbering a kiity-in-the-box, we finally reach our objective. Being that this is an RPG, and that we've clearly forced our way in here, L'Arc and friends are soon greeted with red armor and... black robes. The latter, I REALLY wish I didn't see because I cannot hate this guy enough. The Douchechanter is back to make our lives miserable yet again, but it's not just him that pisses me off, it's... ANOTHER guy along with it.
Reapers with ascots though, pure failure all around...

Donald gains entry to the Viking Ship, only to be conned into one of the worst segments of the game. By who, you ask? Well, just look on ahead. It seems this duck hunt is starting into a goose chase, but there is hope with some clear-coated lining. It's time to nab this Viking Diary and see what all the hubbub is about!

We're onto the third and final act! Krang's on the run and there's only a few stages left to take on. Unfortunately they're some of the hardest stages in the game on this difficulty. The first of two literally will throw EVERYTHING at you and then some! Be prepared for tricks, traps and your least favorite enemies to make a last stand here! And then when you're all done with that, Krang comes back for a revenge match-up; taking notes from Dr. Wily with his own capsule contraption.
Then... there was him...

Time to get introduced to one of the things this game will force upon the player. Not only are we revisiting old towns, we are ALSO revisiting old dungeons. This will be the first of SEVERAL instances, but the good news is that the enemies will at least change and kind of grow with you a bit. Also, you might stumble across some new stuff that you couldn't take part in previously.
However, there is ONE big change waiting for you on the upper floors of this place. Though, it seems that Niko might have missed that...

Well, Sega finally got their collection of classic console Sonic games all rolled into one package. The end result is that it's a pretty good experience, but it is admittedly mostly been experienced on the iOS/Android versions of Sonic and Sonic 2 courtesy of Christian Whitehead's efforts, as well as Sonic CD. Sega figured that if people realized that, they would be in a bit of trouble.
All in all, it's a nice bundle to be fair and the new modes and cutscenes are easily some of the best parts of the experience. Furthermore, you have all the soundtracks that you can listen to (but rip Sonic 3 in more ways than one).
I thought Story Mode would be something different. It's not, but it wouldn't hurt going through these classic games one by one with a nice connecting kind of storyline between all of them. The cutscenes are the true reward for starting AND beating these games!
Also, how many lives did I lose? I have to wonder if I got a Game Over at this rate...

Well, Weiss doesn't hate our guts, imagine that! Furthermore, L'Arc is essentially back home after quite the crazy sequence of events. So it only makes sense to get some home cooking back at home. But of course, some dreams end up getting soundly crushed...

Well, I can't say I didn't see this coming. L'Arc being such a juvenile delinquent and causing all sorts of trouble for everyone. It's not a surprise there's yet ANOTHER jail cell waiting for him. Good news is that the enemy hasn't flexed in a while and we make a cut right to the Emperor. Interestingly enough, he's willing to listen for a change...
