Prof. Jørgen Peder Steffensen: We live in cold times. Using CO2 facts to counter climate change scaremongering. With English Subtitles
"We live in the coldest period of the last 10.000 years," says Danish glaciologist, Jørgen Peder Steffensen who take us back in time to the Grenland ice cores and reveals the secrets from the past.
Jørgen Peder Steffensen is a professor in ice core related research at the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen. Using ice core date, his team has reconstructed the last 10,000 years of climate history. He dissects the climate narrative in 4 minutes. Ice core drilling shows that it was around 2.5 °C warmer during the Medieval Warm Period than it is today!
This expert says: "The problem is that we agree completely that we have had a global temperature increase in the 20th century.
Yes, but an increase from what?
Probably an increase from the lowest point we've had for the last 10,000 years.
And this means that it will be very hard indeed to prove whether the increase of temperature in the 20th century was manmade or it's a natural variation.
There will be very hard because we made ourselves an extremely poor experiment.
We started to observe meteorology at the coldest spot in the last 10,000 years."
Don't believe the media who are politically motivated, believe real climate experts who know their stuff and won't betray science just to push a political agenda.
