Lone Druid received a rework in 7.23 and is one of the big winners of the new patch. Players are still trying to figure out how to best play this hero now and one possibility that players like 33 and Bulldog are exploring is to run him as an offlaner.
But this is not your grandpa's offlane LD. Instead of rushing Radiance and essentially playing carry from the offlane, this new iteration buys efficient fighting and aura items and is able to play very fast.
