Sometimes, even the best of plans just get derailed. When that happens, sometimes you're left with no choice but to strike the board and start over. However, for Odio here, he does that in a much more literal sense. After all, if he can't have the world for all eternity, then no one will.
If you're wondering how to get this ending, you need to choose Oersted for the final chapter and simply start losing the fight. Then you get to throw the proverbial game board across the room and storm off. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnq_B_3te_s
Trying to get back into the swing of things, we are going to put out another Advance Wars video so people know I'm still alive.
In this one, we will be going up against one of my favorite COs, Grit. You have to either be a little strategic or a little patient to get the most out of him, but he can be a very nasty opponent if you're comfortable throwing wave after wave of infantry at your enemy while the indirects poke from safety. He is one of the ones who thrive with the Crawling Zombie (Phalanx) strategy, but you just need to be patient enough to push forward.
Alternative, he can be very nasty with ambushes during Fog of War. Basically, he can load units into trees and you have to be very careful when navigating through forests. Depending on how much he has to play with in terms of funds, you can run into surprise after surprise as he whittles you down. Just watch for the APCs and you can get an idea of where to attack and where to avoid.
As for this mission, it is still tutorial stuff, but Grit actually hurts, unlike Olaf. He has a few indirects to give you a taste of what he can do, but we don't let him set up any bottlenecks, so he can't take advantage of his range as much as he could with a human playing. However, we will be running into him again soon, and next time he will be a little rougher to deal with...

After the previous map, I was expecting something different with Andy, but that isn't really the case. Our objective is to take out the cannon in the corner, which is easy for a bomber. Before getting to that point though, make sure you grab the map if you want to field neotanks as Orange Star. Otherwise, we will be venturing back into new terrain sooner than you may expect.

Continuing my quest to clear all quests, Somnacanth and Aknosom are the targets and I need to take them down. I don't have a use for the gear for either of them, but there is always a chance to get one of those oh so elusive crowns.
Anyway, Somnacanth is still susceptible to Pierce, but Aknosom can be a little annoying. The upside to Pierce there is that you can pierce its wings when it tries to cover its face. It may be possible that Sticky is better against it, but I still haven't gotten around to testing it. Due to its bipedal nature and body shape, I think Sticky may be the way to go. Nothing on either of them can be severed, but you can break stuff, so go nuts.

This is a "world tour" sort of video where we go around and make small talk around the land. Sadly, I can't do everything right now, as there are some places that will unlock after doing quests. So it may seem a bit brief compared to last time, but there will be more conversation later. When all of that is said and done, we will be free to spend the bonding points and head on down to Crossbell...

Should you wish to preserve AI, you will need to remember the name of the woman who lived in the Garden of Eden. With this choice, you get to save the crew and get the mission as close to righted as possible.

In this video, we kick off the season, and that includes opening the new capsule set, which has a skin for Crustle, hence the thumbnail. Other than that, since I was master last season, I am placed in the middle of veteran, which seems to have me playing against some completely new players, which seems to go as you might expect. Currently, there are very limited ways to get item upgrade coins, so it is much more difficult than before for the new guys to catch up to those of us who were here for the first season. I am hoping the first update will give them some relief.
As for the games themselves, the three characters here haven't gotten anything new. Machamp is still in a somewhat rough spot as it seems every new character that comes out has a way to block CC. Until he gets a buff like Pikachu where the non-CC moves get more power or something along those lines, I don't think he will be in a good spot. As for Pikachu, the point and click CC is hard to beat, so I think we will be seeing a lot of the rat for this season.

For the next set of stories, we need to make our way to Wellgrove, which happens to be close to where the Dancer shrine and guild can be located. Since I couldn't record all of this in one sitting, I didn't really notice, but somewhere along the way, the encounter rate has started to become unreasonable. You can see that there are multiple instances of me only being able to take a few steps between each battle and it really drew the segment out. Since this video, I've been a little more mindful of the encounters and sadly, I have yet to see them improve.

Just remember that Osvald's intro was actually his first and second chapters combined, which is why we're onto Chapter 3 with him. In summary, we return to where he lived in search of clues and manage to get a tip from an old friend (after beating her). Starting to unravel the conspiracy, Osvald confronts one of the people who arrested him and gets a lead on where to check next.

Before we bring this arc to a close, I want to do the sidequests that are waiting to be completed. The first is that we do all of the Kunitsukami events, starting with beating down the giant golem from the beginning of the game, and then taking them on as a group. Once they are out of the way, we can deal with the arrival of an archangel, which foreshadows events that come after the Castle. And finally, since the area is winding down, I need to round up the Fiends, which means we will be taking on the four horsemen and grinding them into dust. Sadly, I won't meet the level requirement to fuse all of them for a little while longer, so this is more an investment in things to come.
When we pick up next time, it is a return to the story segments and bringing the war to a conclusion...
