In today's Pokémon GO Episode we're talking about the latest Pokémon GO game changes. This time Niantic has made some tweaks behind the scenes, including fixing a "bug" with the new San Francisco Tracker where the old Sightings weren't being displayed in areas with too few Pokémon at Nearby Pokéstops! Good news. They've also reverted Prestige gaining to the old numbers, essentially making the max prestige you can gain from training a gym 1000 per battle. In addition, they've expanded the sightings radius back to 200 meters, what it originally was much earlier on in the game's life. This one is a mixed bag for me. With the decreased range you KNEW that if a rare Pokémon was nearby that it was close--most likely within your line of sight within the map area on your screen. There's also been a plethora of information leaking about a potential Starbucks Coffee promotion that will be occurring on December 8th (this Thursday). It may very well be the release of the generation 2 Pokémon or even potentially legendary Pokémon. I guess we'll have to wait and see. In today's Pokémon Go Episode we're taking a look at the brand new version 0.39 Update (1.9.0 on the Apple Store)! In this update there are a number of changes, and there are also some changes that have been made in the background of the game as well! Trainers, Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.39.0 for Android and 1.9.0 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team. Capture location: The location where a Pokémon was caught will now be displayed on their information screen. Pokémon GO Plus and Incense: Trainers can attempt to capture Pokémon they encounter from using Incense with the Pokémon GO Plus accessory. Previously for whatever reason wild Pokémon's Attack IVs were linked to their Pokédex number. For example, since the starter Pokémon are at the very beginning of the Pokédex their attack IVs were at the very beginning of what the IV could have been (0). Pokemon near the end of the Pokédex (Eevee, Snorlax, Dragonite, etc) would just about always have a maxed 15/15 Attack IV as well because of this. Niantic has finally fixed this and made it so that all wild Pokemon spawns will now have random IVs and their IVs will no longer be correlated with their dex number. Note, egg Pokémon and Pokémon spawned with Incense were never effected by this glitch! Thanks for watching, guys!
