He was not physically abusing them, but abusing his position, screaming at them, telling them, if you don't do what I say, I'm going to ruin your life. Making them go pick up his dry cleaning and running his personal errands according to this report. So he resigned before the investigation could go too deep. But this is what bothers me so much about Washington DC because it's not just about the dysfunction. It is these people. In a bubble, they're in a bubble. You got two separate kinds of people that get into work as staffers for members of Congress or for the President. You've got the people that for some reason, think they're gonna make a difference. And those are the hopeful, optimistic, they will be crushed soon enough. But then you have these power hungry little freaks, like this guy who go in there, they get on this power trip and they say, well, I'm in charge of five people. So obviously I am the king of this castle. Go get my dry cleaning. You go get me coffee. I am the king of the Biden White House. Isn't the Biden White House the kinder, gentler White House? So even though he didn't give them explicit instructions, we're dealing with a group of people, the MAGA cultists, who just need a little push. They just need some kind of wink and a nod to go out there and do some of the most horrible things you could imagine, which of course is what led to January 6th. Donald Trump just gave them a little tap. You know, he didn't tell them, you have to go storm the capitol. He didn't say, you have to go fight like hell right now. He just said, you're gonna have to fight like hell. And they went and they fought like hell. And over a thousand people, of course, have been charged in connection with that.
