We apologise for referring to Rock Bottom in our last video, which was here. That video has been removed and the new one is here...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9XC_LldBJ4The South Coast has an all-new super-duper music venue! Right on the river down at Spillers Wharf in Port Shepstone!
This weekend saw the very first Little Concerts show headlined by Dave Marks (Woodstock). Who rallied the crowd with his soothing rock sounds and vibes (Master Jack). Dave was backed up by a star-studded cast of local musicians who played right into the afternoon and into the rain!
The rain never stopped play though. The party just moved into The Port Captain in the Umzimkulu Adrenalin building. Where The Curry House Blues session played on and on as Dave Marks and John Skuy jammed together into the night.
Fish on the River supplied beer and pizza. The Port Captain made some delicious curry. And as usual many bought their own snacks and drinks. The Fishing Girls from Tweni had their arts and crafts shop popped-up. And we encourage people who make and sell things, to come and pop up a store right here at Umzimkulu Adrenalin, on any Sunday.
Organiser Roelie Rautenbach has announced that from the 31st of October 2021, they will be staging a Little Concerts event every Sunday until January. When we will take break and regroup for 2022 (did I just write 2022!?). The events start at high noon with setup and sound, music starts playing at about 2pm or so.
Dont forget to bring your fishing rod!
