Voyage to Lacus Mortis | Royal Academy of Arts | #YASS 2021
I am so excited and honoured to announce that the 'Voyage to Lacus Mortis' sculpture I created in celebration of my historical lunar adventure this year has been chosen for exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London during the Young Artists Summer Show for 2021!
I’m so excited for NASA to land the first woman and next man on the Moon as part of their Artemis program in 2024! I had so much fun building my own NASA Moon Kit this weekend, creating my own astronaut pack to celebrate the mission! ?????
Did you know each astronaut is allowed a 5” x 8” x 2” pack of personal belongings when they travel to the International Space Station? ? I worked really hard to make my own perfectly sized pack and I had a lot of fun choosing which items to take on my imaginary trip to the Moon! Watch my video to see what I brought!
