Day 16 - Facebook Live Challenge - 5 Questions Buyers Ask Themselves
Facebook Live Challenge - Day 16 5 Questions Buyers Ask Themselves - or the "The Buyers Process" as I also call it. There is a psychological process that people go through to justify any purchase to themselves. Then they ask themselves these five questions. Here is the list below. 1. Do I have a need? 2. HOW will I fill that need? 3. Who/What will fill my need? 4. What's the price? 5. TIME! How long will this take?

Today I am talking about effective learning and growth. So here we go with 5 tips on learning effectively!
▶️ PLEASE SUBSCRIBE - https://goo.gl/TpmJtj
When people are learning and growing, it makes them more valuable. More valuable to themselves in the form of self-confidence and self-worth and upgraded intra-personal skills. It makes them more valuable to their families, improves interpersonal skills and their relationships. And certainly, makes them more valuable in business, because when you are growing as an individual, and as a manager or a leader in an organization, it brings other people along that growth pattern with you. AND – helps the organization to grow!
So, here are my 5 tips on learning effectively.
1. Know how you learn. Are you primarily - visual, auditory, kinesthetic. Do you learn better in a classroom, or by watching someone else? Do you learn with someone guiding you, and just going after it, taking action. These methods are all valuable. To be effective at teaching others, you must know what your areas of strength are and be an effective student first. You cannot teach what you don’t know, and it’s certainly more difficult to teach in a method that you are not good at.
2. Learn completely, versus learning everything you can as quickly as possible. Spaced reputation is a learning technique that means you study your subject matter and then take a break. You have to have time in between. There are many experts that state it takes 26 spaced repetitions to learn a skill. So for example: Learning a new sales process will take a new salesperson repeating the skill, 26 days or times in a row. There is that time gap, break and sleep in between. But, if practiced daily that is how over time you repeat the result that you want. You’ve heard the saying, “Nothing worth doing comes quickly and easily.” Knowledge and growth are valuable… so it’s going to take time to be effective and certainly to become an expert.
3. Teach yourself to ignore other people’s agendas and approval. If you are more worried about what other people think than what is the right thing for you right now, you may as well stop reading. Other people want to push their opinions and agendas on you to keep you at a similar level to what they are at. If you are growing and they are not, then they may realize it is a problem with themselves. They will openly share their agenda or disproval with you to try and keep you in an area that is comfortable for them. This may not be what is right for you!
4. Learn from mistakes. Your mistakes, other people’s mistakes. All mistakes have value and you can learn from them. The key is that when you make a mistake, acknowledge that it is a mistake – and DON’T REPEAT it! If you continue to repeat a mistake or

Who you are precedes what you do. Leadership begins in the heart. We have seen it happen time and time again, God regularly disregards human customs and traditions in what he needs to accomplish.
For example, here David, as the youngest son would normally be least likely to be put into a leadership role… certainly not as king. God knew his heart and knew that the people would need a leader with spirit.
1 Samuel 16:7
'But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”'
David, like so many of us do, began as the low man on the totem pole. He did what was asked and maintained a great attitude. Even though others looked on mocking him, including his brothers… God took notice and lifted him up.
This shows us that even staying faithful in small things often results in larger assignments, and results. When you are given the opportunity at larger responsibility it’s important to approach this with the same heart that got you there to begin with.
Who you are precedes what you do. Leadership begins in your heart.

In this episode of The Leadership Toolkit we get into the mindset and journey of the entrepreneurial business owner, through the experience of Reid Tileston. His story, from a nascent contender in the harsh world of business to a successful multi-business owner, encapsulates not just the entrepreneurial spirit but the profound nuances of leadership, perseverance, and the deftness required to maneuver through the challenges and opportunities that spellbind the path of entrepreneurship.
Diving deep with Reid, it is abundantly clear that the foundation of his success is not just credited to strategic acumen but reverent leadership. Leadership is built on the bedrock of hard-earned insights, fostered by a holistic understanding of one's own capabilities, limitations, and the panoramic vision required to meld personal aspirations with tangible business outcomes. Reid's explication of leadership vividly captures the essence of transformation—from an employee to an entrepreneurial business owner—a transition underscored by autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
"Grit it Done," Reid’s opus on navigating the storms and droughts of entrepreneurial business ownership, encapsulates his journey, a reservoir of insights and actions for aspiring entrepreneurs. It isn't just a book; it’s a roadmap—a semblance of distilled wisdom carved from the myriad experiences sculpted through failures conquered and victories celebrated. Reading it isn’t just an act of absorbing content; it's about aligning oneself to the frequency of potential, readiness, and actionable gallantry.
The Core Takeaways: Insights and Reflections
1️⃣ Intrinsic Assessment: Know where you stand - employee, equity employee, business owner, or entrepreneurial business owner. Identifying your intrinsic alignment sets the critical foundation for your journey ahead.
2️⃣ Resilience through Adversity: The journey begotten by the decision to walk the less trodden path of entrepreneurship is stimied with obstacles that demand more than just passion—they require resilience.
3️⃣ Leadership by example: Visionary accomplishment is significantly attributed to the capacity to lead by example—the principal determinant of genuine respect and loyalty amongst your team clouds.
4️⃣ Strategic Peer Networks: The quintessential essence of progress—both personal and professional—is significantly influenced by the peer networks we cultivate. Reid’s conviction in the transformative power of peer groups as scaling mechanisms suggests a direct correlation between the quality of your network and the trajectory of your success.
5️⃣ Commitment to Action: The nuanced balance between strategic contemplation and actionable commitments forms the bedrock of entrepreneurial triumph. Seek revelation through motion, crafting your path with diligence, and unwavering determination.
Reid Tileston's entrepreneurial narrative is an inspiration and a playbook wrapped in one. For aspiring business owners and leaders navigating the domain of visionary entrepreneurship, "Grid It Done" serves as both a clarion call and a beacon. You can get Reids book at GritItDone.com

Working hard and having a good work ethic is greater than just dreams and desires.
My wife was perusing the depth’s of the internet today and she saw this statement. “How do I sit in my bed for the rest of my life but also become a billionaire at the same time?” And I thought for a moment, wow… that would be great! I’d also like to become a billionaire in my pajama’s…
Now I know, that currently people are springing up all over the place with idea’s and products, and appear to be “overnight successes” – but, I can assure you, that for most, that is not the case.
You have to actually put in work, you cannot just sit back and dream.
I am constantly amazed by some things. One thing that amazes me today… the number of questions or inquiries on Google for people who want to become billionaires and do so in a short amount of time and preferably without any real action or work to achieve it.
I understand that people want to dream big but here is a maybe harsh dose of reality. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Someone somewhere is paying for that LUNCH!
People generally do not become an overnight success. Not as we see it. Take Gary Vaynerchuk for example, yes I’m a fan! Both his online and offline success is massive right now. Prior to 2005, he was just a dude busting his ass to grow the family wine business. And it took a ton of work. His online empire started out on Wine Library in 2006. His first book deal was 2009. 2009 Also marked the start of his empire at VaynerMedia. Then VaynerMedia took off. Here we are in 2017 and Gary still seems to be on the rise of his journey right now. Why, because he is real, and he works his ass off. It’s work ethic and providing value to people.
Overnight success averages something like 10 years of real work. Look up any person that you admire, or that you believe has a level of success that you are chasing… their story will be a lot longer than you think.
You want money, and success, you have to work for it. It doesn't come to you just because you want it to and you have this dream.
Here's a simple formula to consider.....Work hard to provide value to others. Get paid for the value you produce and provide to people. Then spend less money along the way than what you make. Continue finding new ways to provide value and keep working hard!
Over time, you'll have wealth. It's that simple.
So many successful people, millionaires, and billionaires say that the key to their success – it’s taking that first step. So here’s the deal. That idea you have, start on it. Just go, learn everything you can about the subject, that thing that you are passiona

When you are seeking out expert advice, or when asking for help - is today's topic.
Once you have made it into management or leadership, or maybe you are now considered an expert in a particular field. Sometimes it becomes difficult to ask for assistance, especially in the area you are supposed to be excellent at. I come across this with friends of mine, and in fact myself sometimes.
Let me give you an example – let’s say you are a top producing salesperson and you have hit a slump. Where do you turn for advice? Or do you ask for advice… or help to get out of your slump?
See, with so many people, it is really hard to bruise our own ego and ask for help from other sources. Because if for at least a moment, it means first and foremost, that we have to admit the ultimate truth to ourselves… that we don’t have the answer!
Here I have come up with four other reasons that people, any people, not just experts, won’t ask for help!?
* Fear of being a bother. They don’t want to be a bother to someone else. You think, well they are to busy to deal with something so easy… but if it was that easy you would have the answer!
* Fear of having to owe someone something in return. Holy cow, this is huge… if I ask someone this, and they help me. Then I will “owe” them something, I’ll have to pay them back. AND – what if when they come calling… I don’t have the answer?
* Fear of being embarrassed and appearing weak, failure. This is a heavy one because, in our hearts, no one wants to really admit that they don’t know the answer for fear that the other party you may ask may see you as inferior. This is probably one of the most unjustified fears we can have? Most of the time, people do really want to help and it allows them to shine with their expertise.
* Good old fear of rejection. Quite simply, we are scared that if we ask... the other party might say “no.” I’ll say it again, most of the time, people do really want to help and it allows them to shine with their expertise. AND – the primary reason that they might say no… is if they don’t know the answer. Then you can seek it out together!
You MUST stay teachable and forever be learning!
