A brief video where we go into the newly revamped Flooded Forest for the return of an old monster. The good news for gunners here is that this arms have what can be a powerful skill for any bowguns that are slow to reload. Sadly, at this stage of the game, it is the only source for the skill, so we cannot get a lot of mileage out of it, but I will be putting it to use as we work toward a better set of skills to use. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYCpl6ET6nU
I hope you've taken good notes on how to manipulate the AI as this is where everything will come into play.
Nell has triple your resources from the start, and Andy has a close position to fight you in a land war. Unless you can swiftly remove one of them, they will overwhelm you as there simply isn't a way to compete. Even if you want to do artillery shenanigans with Grit, they will build planes and finish you off.
So our strategy here is to bring someone with good transport units, and I prefer Sami to be honest. The goal is to slip through all of the holes in Nell's defenses and exploit that the AI leaves their HQs undefended. With careful movement, we can drop an infantry in range and cap quickly, reverting all of those resources to us.
Once you have Nell's stuff, overwhelming Andy should be a breeze. You have the economy to field those heavy hitting units that few can afford, and you can buy multiples of them per turn. Even with her innate penalties, you can simply overwhelm Andy with quantity of higher tier units, similar to how Colin fights. You need to really hammer him to make up for the loss of power score from sneaking Nell's base, and if you are careful with your stuff, you can still have a comfortable amount of technique in the end.
I am not really a fan of missions like these, but I guess they give a lot more purpose to Sensei and Sami. Sadly, the next few aren't the greatest either as they are more demonstrations of new features for this game rather than being legitimate challenges. That will be changing slightly as we go on, but just don't set your sights too high.

Shenanigans are afoot again, requiring us to make a detour before we can start the Third Rivalry. We must return to where the game started (with Lloyd and Estelle) and face off against McFirebro and Arseid to unlock it. In order to even get there, Elliot has to launch the mother of all diversions, which is going to require the majority of the group. Luckily I'm not using Elliot this game...

I expected so much more out of this segment. This disappointed me so damn much, I stopped playing the game for a week. The worst part of it all is that this is not the translation, this is just really bad writing. I am tempted to make a longer video to tear into this, but to summarize:
The only major development here is the Emperor's assassination, which causes a rift in the Imperial side. Goldwyn withdraws, Seign defects. As for Nowa's side, literally nothing is accomplished. Euma is still as indecisive as ever, only choosing to run away from the issue instead of growing to confront it. The Alliance expands due to Melridge and the defectors joining, but other than possibly Seign, none of them have growth any from their journey other than their "stats". Perielle doesn't have a good friend moment with Euma, instead looking very parasitic in that once they are allied, she is off to the next location instead of sticking around to help him. There were no developments with Nowa, where he may have learned something about leadership from either Goldwyn or Kassius. With the exception of the announcement of the Emperor, I would call this entire segment just filler. I'm not sure how many people feel the same about this, but it makes the whole Euchrisse journey feel like something to pad the game time and the roster size. Unless I am missing something, there just isn't anything here.

Apparently, I held off a bit on getting the neotanks, so here we have the tutorial map for Sensei. There is a bottleneck on the side that can take an eternity to go through, so I recommend using the base and airport on the peninsula to bypass everything. Sensei has a lot of power in his choppers, but he can't really answer anti-air as well as someone like Eagle can. However, you can use Sensei's super power to generate quite a bit of income by joining everything that spawns. Otherwise, you are relying on those mechs to get the jump on the anti-air as they will get shredded if they don't.
Sensei is considered one of the more broken characters in the game due to the funds he can generate and how long he can stall. You will not get to see it while playing as Sensei in the campaign, but when we have to deal with him in the war room it adds like 15 minutes to the map. There are ways through him still, but it just gets really tedious.

With the exception of St. Ursula, this is the part of the patrol that encompasses everything south of Crossbell City. We will travel the road on foot to get the loot that can be found, then make our way to Stargazer's Tower after what remains. Sadly, the Tower is almost completely empty now, so we cannot farm the archaisms there for U-Materials, and there are also no chests to be had.

I don't get all of the sidequests here as I intentionally left off Khonsu, who will most likely be in the next video when I aim to wrap up ALL sidequests available. To make up for his omission, we will instead be whacking Cleopatra, someone I should have hit earlier due to how crazy Frolic is.
With Cleo on the chopping block first, make sure you are protected against Bufu, Hama, and Charm as those are the three things she will lob at you. Being able to use Dekunda can also help significantly as it will offset the Frolic debuffs. Upon defeating her, you can either stop her suicide to get her to join you, or let her go if you're not interested. I will be fusing her again later since the Prayers I've accumulated will make her ridiculous once she bridges any level gaps.
After that, we whack Abaddon who doesn't really have much going for him. I just need to show up and smack him around and down he goes. Baal is in a similar spot in that he doesn't have anything as annoying as Frolic.
However, things change when we reach the Garuda who was probably meant to be fought after I deal with the rival Nahobinos judging from his level alone. He loves to play with evasion and depending on the exact numbers going on under the hood, may be more evasive than anything we've encountered until now. Either Dekaja, Sukunda, or Blinding Strike is necessary to bring him back into line. As long as we can hit him, we can try to drag this into a battle of attrition, but due to the level gap, he is still going to hit extremely hard for this stage of the game, so make sure you can heal or cut into his damage somehow.

And for completion sake, we send in Max to bring the Green Earth campaign to a close. If you used him or did not use one of the other two for all of these, either Sami or Kanbei will be waiting to help you in the final battle.
This mission is kind of weird. Drake has a few units on our island, which we can easily wipe out. Everything else stays on his island and we can wipe out the units that pose a threat to our navy pretty easily. From there, we make landfall and bring things to a close.
I did end up playing this one twice, showing the second attempt here since for some reason, on the first one, he simply would not use his power. I do not know if he glitched or bugged out, so I opted to reset and try again. It takes a little while, but he does use it here. I don't know if there is something that makes him trigger shy or what is going on, but the AI is nowhere near as aggressive here as it normally is.

This part features some big reveals that is going to point us in the direction that the rest of the game is going to take. One of the hints you can see in the thumbnail. We are about to hit the half-way point if the indicator in the bottom right corner is to be trusted (count the dark dots, then look at the video number here), so there will probably be some twists coming out in the next few videos before we hit the final stretch of the game. I definitely would have liked to be able to see Eleanor's poster in greater detail, but I can't seem to find a way to hide the text, sadly.
If you want to pick up a copy of the game, you can pick it up at:

Here is the romance it seems the game devs wished to steer you into. Ironically, this is actually the shortest one of the bunch as her scenes are fairly brief. I kind of expected her to mope about her father or have her and Rean commiserate, but neither came to pass before the scene on the beach.
