morning run! Get some! get that heart pumping! Don't wait!
Some of you guys are too young to be sitting around waiting to get old! Don't sit around and eat yourself to death on the road to health problems! I ran when I was on active duty, but after being away from exercise for 15 years I'm doing it again at 53 years old and I am not giving up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIjmU92U6lw
After watching a video by Marshall3498,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TQa_XaKEXo
I decided to set up 2 cameras on the bike. I had 3 on there, but iMovie only allows for 2 video stream editing.
It's pretty easy in iMovie, but not as easy as one! What are your thoughts?

I joined a brand new, local meetup group called Brass Monkey Motorcycle Riders. First ride was today, 50% of the group was able to participate, both of us! lol...It was a fun ride and a pleasure meeting John, the founder of the group. John has a ton of experience and I plan to pick his brain for some of his experiences. Here is what the group is all about so you don't have to sign up for Meetup:
The group page; Brass Monkey Motorcycle Riders
https://www.meetup.com/brass-monkey-motorcycle-riders
What we're about
This is a seasonal group for all weather motorcycle riders who don't hibernate in the Piedmont/Central Plain Virginia (mild) winter, who are looking for a little more purpose to winter outings than solo local loops, who would enjoy the company of other like-minded Brass Monkey riders to meet, ride and/or sip coffee and shoot the breeze with.
This is similar in concept to the AMA Polar Bear Grand Tour, though this group is not AMA sanctioned. ( https://polarbeargrandtour.com/index.htm ).
Outline of the Brass Monkey Motorcycle Tour - to be finalized depending on interest.
• 8 pre-planned Sunday rides to eating destinations (covid appropriate)
Ride schedule: Dec 13th, Jan 10th & 24th , Feb 7th & 21st, Mar 7th & 21st, April 11th (make up date April 18th)
Within 75 mile radius of Glen Allen VA (see picture). 2 destinations each in to the NE, SE, SW and NW quadrants of the circle - so each member would have short and longer rides based on where you live.
• Rain, shine, chilly or cold - we are Brass Monkey riders after all. Cancellations only if there is a snow or ice event. But the decision to ride is always the choice of each individual rider.
• Ride solo, with your riding buddies, or join the organizers group at a defined starting point. Meetup at the destination between Noon & 12.30pm. Sign in, warm up with a cup of coffee, a snack/lunch then head home.
• Minimum 8 riders maximum 20 riders (for now) - $25 to join (once the minimum number is reached). 50% of the fees collected will be donated to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the other 50% will be shared by the rider(s), excluding the organizer, with the best attendance record (or the rider(s) can elect to add to the charitable donation).
• Two or three wheels, brand agnostic. This is a group for RIDERS ONLY.
• First come, first served.

AS you can see from the thumbnail, Sean from Box of Chocolates was in town and he made time to come my place. We decided to take the KLR and the Tiger for a short ride! Glad I still had it so he could get the oil circulating! It's always fun to ride with friends. It's been over a year since our last ride. Go check out his channel for the video he did the same day!

So, I completed another run!! Slightly different route. So easy to quit...but I sucked it up. Determined to run this 3 miles without walking. Completion time, pace time...don't care, just want to run it without walking....getting there...slowly, but surely...

Just a Saturday for Tracey and I. Went to a couple of Antique malls in Culpeper, Va. Ate a sammich, fried pie and went shopping. Found some neat as well as some creepy items out there!! A friend also dropped off close to 10 rolls of negatives to see if I could scan them for him. They are from the late 1950's-1960's. It's going to be a chore, but I think I can get it done.

Owning an older home can be fun and challenging. So many things we take for granted in modern homes. My house was built in 1949. I know at least of you live in a much older home. But the walls are plaster, so I can't just go from room to room tapping in nails to hang photos, etc, takes some drilling, etc., or I have to use those sticky hook things. My house does not have the insulation that are in modern homes, my plumbing is all copper, hardwood, creaky floors throughout the entire house...I love it, no sneaking up on me! Most older homes have an oil fired furnace, or a boiler for heat. I'm lucky to have central AC, but I also have an oil furnace for heat. The plus side to the furnace is that is runs on 110v AC, so in a power outage during the winter, I can use my generator to power the furnace and we stay warm. Fixtures are old and hard to find matching replacements.
So, if you own an older home, please share some thoughts in the comments!
