It is part of Real Rendashia's Land of Overlapping Destinies storyline. The party carried out Quest 229: "The Witch and the Chicken". After accepting the quest from Airi in town, they explored the Real Rhone Forest. At the Yellow Leaves Shop, they bought the Piyopiyo Bean. They gave the bean to Rasha in Melsandy, and she gave the party Mr. Kokke the chicken, because Airi believes that the evil witch is scared of a chicken's voice. The party went to the Real Sun-Dappled Clearing. Gretel the Witch appeared, and Mr. Kokke's crowing scared her not at all. I'm not really surprised. Unfortunately, Zankrone is in no condition to confront her. Now, the party will carry out Quest 230, the final story quest in "Story of a Hero and a Girl". This will take them to the confusing Real Witchwood. Real Melsandy Village (time 0:29): The party resumes in the church in Real Melsandy Village. At D-4/E-4, Berka has story info. The party talks to Rapetto at D-6 in front of the statue of Zankrone. Rapetto issues Quest 230: "Zankrone, the Little Hero", the fifth quest in the "Story of a Hero and a Girl" quest line. He gives the party the Crimson Jewel (紅蓮の大宝石) key item. The first objective is to see Airi in the Faerie Tale Writer's House. The party enters the Faerie Tale Writer's House at D-2. When they go upstairs, a scene takes place on the terrace. Gretel the Witch is abducting Airi! After Gretel disappears, Zankrone speaks to the party from the Crimson Jewel. The party's next destination is the Midnight Banquet Hall in the depths of the Real Witchwood. When they are ready to go, the party Zooms to the Real Rhone Forest - Woods destination. Real Rhone Forest (time 13:12): At E-3/F-3, the party enters the Real Witchwood (真の魔女の森). Real Witchwood (time 13:33): The party starts at B-7 in the southwest of the Real Witchwood. This area is a twisty maze, as it is in the online edition. It would be helpful to be able to zoom the camera in on the player while going through narrow spaces, like tunnels and under tree roots. Some gates are locked, but some are not. Early on, the party earns the "Mysterious Wolf's Request" scroll, a four-star difficulty request. The reward is 17 Yellow Eyes (イエローアイ). On a mid-level plateau at C-6, a red chest contains 3 Sage's Elixirs (けんじゃのせいすい). On a mid-level plateau at C-7, a black chest contains a Red Orb (レッドオーブ). On a nearby mid-level plateau at B-7/C-7, a red chest contains a sprig of Pretty Betsy (うつくしそう). Anlucia uses this Pretty Betsy. On a mid-level plateau at D-6, a red chest contains 5 Slimedrops (スライムゼリー). On the low-level passage at G-3 in the northeast, a black chest contains a Seeker's Headband (求道者のはちまき). Hussar equips this Seeker's Headband. In the north of the eastern plateau, a black chest at H-4 contains a Rainbow Orb (虹色のオーブ). The party uses a new Metal Perfume and Double Bubble. Daston reaches Level 82. He earns 7 skill points for a total of 109. Mjoll reaches Level 82. She earns 7 skill points for a total of 109. Fura reaches Level 82. She earns 7 skill points for a total of 107. Hussar reaches Level 82. He earns 7 skill points for a total of 111. Raguas reaches Level 82. He earns 7 skill points for a total of 107. In the graveyard in the west, a black chest at C-5 contains the recipe for the Barbarous Pole (ブラッドスピアー) spear. At E-1, the party examines the crystal outside the Real Midnight Banquet Hall in the north. This adds the Real Midnight Banquet Hall destination to the Zoom Stone. Southeast of the banquet hall, a black chest at E-3 contains a Purple Orb (パープルオーブ). Prior to facing the boss battle in the Real Midnight Banquet Hall, the party will rest. They Zoom to Real Melsandy Village. Real Melsandy Village (time 39:30): At the inn, the party sets up for the coming boss battle. Then, they rest. Afterwards, they drop by the bank to deposit some excess funds. When they are ready, they Zoom to the Real Midnight Banquet Hall destination in the Real Witchwood. Now, he will continue with "The Cursed Temple", which will take him to the delightful Temple of Uggalepih. Note that before doing this mission, Heorot must complete Rise of the Zilart Mission 4: "The Temple of Uggalepih". Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He heads outside. Bastok Mines (time 1:30): Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to the Temple of Uggalepih, Elshimo Uplands. Temple of Uggalepih (time 2:15): When Heorot zones into the temple, a scene with Iroha and Tenzen takes place. Afterwards, Heorot gains control at the Survival Guide at F-6 on the first map. He goes through the Granite Door at J-7 to the unmapped northeastern corridor. At K-3, he climbs the stairway and goes outside. Yhoator Jungle (time 5:55): Heorot arrives on the eastern platform at J-9. Immediately to the north, he takes another entrance to the temple at J-9. Temple of Uggalepih (time 6:51): Heorot arrives at F-7 on the third map. He goes past some foolish enemies that will still aggro a Level 99 character. From a Tonberry Maledictor, he acquires a Scroll of Thundaga II. This requires Black Mage Level 61. At J-6, Heorot takes the Granite Door. A scene takes place with Iroha, Tenzen, and the spirit of Grav'iton. Grav'iton advises them to meet Selh'teus at Holla, Dem, or Mea. This completes both "The Cursed Temple" and the subsequent mission, "Wisdom of Our Forefathers". The next Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission, "Where Divinities Collide", begins. Heorot must go to the Crag of Holla, the Crag of Dem, or the Crag of Mea. Heorot casts Warp to leave the temple. Bastok Mines (time 16:36): Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to La Theine Plateau, Zulkheim. La Theine Plateau (time 17:13): Heorot arrives at the Survival Guide at M-8. He calls his chocobo and rides to the Crag of Holla. On the western side of the crag, he dismounts. He examines the Shattered Telepoint at J-8 and chooses to investigate it further. Hall of Transference (time 19:30): Heorot enters Holla's Hall of Transference. A cutscene takes place with Tenzen, Iroha, Selh'teus, and several other characters. Who is that Balamor, and what is his game? This concludes the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission "Where Divinities Collide" and the subsequent mission, "Visions of Dread".
