As bad as things may look, this isn't a problem. Most of the flowers will wind up as hash. Only the primo buds will be cured and jarred. Enjoy the footage. ? Thanks for watching. ? Later. ✌ Cheers! ? ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWoExgzpBmA
It's been over 14 weeks in the flowering room for the last T3...wow! I've never flowered a plant for this long before, and probably won't again without good reason. There just doesn't seem to be any practical reason to do it, unless as an exercise in patience. It's not like the effect is greater because the flowering period is longer, I wish it was. I'm not saying it's not worth growing but if you're interested in dense, hard buds with heavy trichome production, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The colas are huge, it smells amazing and the high is nice but there is a huge time and energy investment to be made in exchange for the pleasure.
In the meantime, the next GSC crop is almost ready to harvest and they look amazing, with frosty buds and sugar leaves galore. I'm looking forward to making some ice hash soon!

Boriqua Kush and Bruce Banner, flower day 10.
Things are going slowly at the moment but that doesn't mean I can let my guard down. The male really caught me off guard, I was very surprised about him. So...he's DEAD now, and rotting! Let that be a lesson to sneaky male cannabis plants everywhere! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Ooops, sorry. Must be the Halloween spirit getting the better of me. Or is it!? Hmmmm! ?☠??♂️?

Hybrid vigor never ceases to amaze me! After growing from cuttings most of the time, I usually forget to leave some extra space for the plants to stretch when growing from seeds. And this time was no exception. While three of the girls are just about the perfect height , the fourth is a standout. It's instances like this that make me glad I have those HLG65's to use!

Yep, more of the same. However, it's not as bad this time and the end result is that it still really doesn't matter all that much. Plenty of quality buds are maturing on the remaining plants and there's some dry weather that may hold in the area for a while. I'll let the remaining ladies stay outside until it looks like they'll be threatened by the weather, storms or frost, perhaps both, hard to say.

Wow! That seems to be the word I keep resorting to whenever I walk into the flowering room and see these ladies getting their groove on! They've got some serious legs for stretching! I've gotten accustomed to growing from cuttings and forgot about hybrid vigor and how fast the plants can grow from seed! I hope these girls don't give me any problems through flower. I'm looking forward to seeing the results! Later, People! Cheers!

I gave the White Gold a pre harvest trim to get a better look at the ripening buds and all of the #8 test plants have finally shown flowers. It looks like there was one male and four females. I'm watching those four girls very closely. It will be much easier to examine four plants for male flowers than twelve like I had to last run. The lone male has been culled and the remaining females are stretching upwards and outwards. I'm hoping they don't get too leggy. So far, so good. Cheers, People! Later!

The rain and cold temperatures are moving in a bit earlier this year so it's time to bring the girls down before the storm damage and botrytis gets any worse. It's been a good run and I'll definitely get a lot of prime buds and plenty of hash out of it. This cultivar is approaching the skunk I've been looking for so I'm glad to have it to add to the collection.

I'm thinking there hasn't been enough light in the vegetative room for the plants to grow health root systems for the last year or so. The light levels from those old fluorescent tubes had fallen off so low as to be ineffective as far a growing plants is concerned. I've brought the other HLG65 from the flowering room into the veg room and the two of them working together along with the 400w MH should go a long way in growing better root systems. That's the best I can do for now. Maybe some more lights later.

This is it, the final hash run of the 2022 growing season. I'm not going to miss the hassle of it all either, that's for sure. It's been a long haul, what with it being my first year to grow outside and all. And I had to build the garden to begin with. So...a lot of work, hard work. Whew! ?
