Just as Sonic (Roger Craig Smith) thinks he is done defending Earth, a new gem (Cherami Leigh) arrives in Beach City seeking revenge, and Sonic faces his greatest challenge yet.
These villainous descendants are given news of this by The Evil Queen, that they are invited into Auradon to attend a prep school alongside the teenage children of iconic heroes.
With a wicked stepmother, Frieda, and two jealous stepsisters, Amaya and Vicky, who keep her enslaved and in rags, Rose stands no chance of attending the royal ball. When her fairy godmother, Farrah appears and magically transforms her reality into a dream come true, Rose enchants the handsome Prince Hawk at the ball, but must face the wrath of her enraged stepmother and sisters when the spell wears off at midnight.
Twilight has noticed that every time Grandmother Fa goes to the city, she always comes from a shortcut, which then appears as a dead end. Her intuition takes the lead, and not long after, she finds a passage through the skeleton of a big animal. While in the passage, Spinel accidentally breaks the structure, and it collapses. They manage to escape, but the invitation is lost to a narwhal.
Raven wants to quickly find the wand but Danny, Apple, and Adrien are making it difficult for her. Raven snaps at them and tells them that this is their only chance to prove themselves to their parents. Apple gets out her magic mirror to find where the wand is. They find out it's in a museum and quickly head there.
The castle is the domain of King Tom (Martial Minoux) and is where he was holding a concert in his name, performed by his seven daughters and the hedeghog court composer, Sonic (Roger Craig Smith). (''Daughters of Tom'') The concert goes as planned until it is discovered that Tom's youngest daughter, Marinette (Cristina Vee), is not there, much to his chagrin. (Everything did not go smoothly at the concert!)
After some incredibly serious training, the Spies, Bloom, Astrid and Marinette, are sent on their first assignment by Gru, the Director of WOOHP, to solve the mysterious disappearances that are happening all over Los Angeles.
Filled with jealousy, the evil witch, Queen Narissa curses Princess Iris to die on her 16th birthday. Thanks to Iris' Glitter Force Warriors - Glitter Lucky, Glitter Spring and Glitter Breeze, she only falls into a deep sleep that can be ended with a true love's kiss from her betrothed, Prince Nathaniel. To prevent Nathaniel from rescuing Iris, Narissa kidnaps and imprisons him. The Glitter Force Warriors are the last hope to free Nathaniel so that he can awaken Iris.
The day passes into the evening when Adrien takes Marinette on a lagoon cruise. Sonic, seeing this as the perfect moment, decides to take matters into his own hands, and plays a song to motivate the two into kissing, ("Kiss the Girl"). However, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed quickly interrupt the song and overturn the boat, successfully ruining the mood.
In the castle, Eggman pleads with King Master Fu (Paul St. Peter) and Queen Marianne Lenoir (Barbara Goodson) to appear in public. Master Fu starts to tell Eggman that he and his wife are still grieving over their lost daughter. Eggman says that they have to face the fact that without an heir, their kingdom will one day go to his son, Adrien (Bryce Papenbrook). Marianne concedes that Eggman is right, and they should name Adrien their heir. Eggman suggests they give a royal ball to find Adrien a wife, to which the king and queen agree.
