Two people were killed and a house destroyed in an Israeli strike early on Monday (December 4) morning in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Residents left homeless said they had moved from the north to the south for their own safety but now felt they had nowhere to go and southern Gaza is overcrowded having turned schools and hospitals into shelters for civilians. On Monday morning, Israel's military posted to X a statement with new orders to Gazans to evacuate about 20 areas or blocks in the Gaza Strip, with three arrows on the map all pointing south indicating where people should go.
