Artist, Printer, Train-Mechanic, Marble-Cutter, Sculptor & Scene-Painter for Fox Films
Kitchin was a painter during the "Harlem Renaissance".
A native of Haiti, he was educated at Wolmer's Boys' School
and after worked as a marble cutter. One of his paintings may
be seen in the Church of the Redeemer at Kingston, B. W. I.
He was also employed in the B. M. T. shops in Brooklyn, and
designed many of their safety slogan placards.
