This morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe show, Randy Evans, a member of the Republican National Committee’s all-important Rules Committee, said that Donald Trump would probably win a 1st ballot victory at the National Convention in Cleveland if he is able to secure somewhat less than the magic 1,237 delegates. "If Donald Trump exceeds 1,100 votes, he will become the nominee even though he may not have 1,237," Evans said. Then Morning Joe tweeted out the same at 9:06 am. [insert] "If he gets less than 1,000 delegates, then I think we're looking at a contested convention that could go on for many, many days," Evans said. "And then in the middle, there's that grey area between 1,000 and 1,100, and that's where the unbound delegates or the delegates that have been released by other candidates come into play to see if there are enough of those to get either Cruz or Trump over the finish line," he added. Here is the current delegate count from the RNC, Trump with 755, Cruz 521 and Kasich with 144 – a 234 delegate lead for Trump. By evening next Tuesday, the most likely scenario is that Trump will pick up 75 of New York’s 95 delegates with Kasich coming in second with 15 and Cruz getting only 5. That would increase Trump’s lead to 304 delegates. That would bring the totals to Trump with 830, Cruz with 526, and Kasich with 159. Looking down the remaining primaries, it’s nearly impossible for Trump not to exceed 1100 delegates even without California. I’m still reporting on politics. Good day.

Good morning, I’m still reporting on Truck Attack Kills 4, Wounds 15 Four people were killed and at least 15 wounded after an industrial truck driven by a Palestinian resident of East Jerusalem plowed into a group of soldiers descended out of a bus at 13:30 local time at the popular Armon Hanatziv promenade overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem. The following is newly-released CCTV footage of the incident. Warning, this is disturbing footage, but the incident occurred about 150 meters from the camera. After initially plowing into the line of soldiers, the terrorist backed his truck up, turning around to try to kill again, but was shot dead by Israeli police. Among the dead were three women and one man in their 20s. Ten of the wounded are in fair condition at various close-by hospitals, four are in either serious or moderate condition, and one is in critical condition. The truck’s windshield was riddled with bullet holes. Police immediately sealed off the scene and closed off traffic to the popular promenade. Several victims were trapped under the truck as first-responders attempted to extricate them. According to police, the terrorist increased speed and swerved into the line of solders exiting the bus. According to Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat: "To our dismay, there is no limit to the cruelty of the terrorists who are willing to use any means possible to murder Jews and to damage the life routine of Israel's capital." Israeli police and military are a strong public presence in Jerusalem and are prepared to act with seconds to any terror attack. However, according to Police Chief Roni Alsheich: “You don’t need more than 2 or 3 seconds to find a terrorist target.
