After learning that Thierry (the NuTyX developer) was in favor of me releasing a NuTyX respin, I took a few days to really think it over. To make a long story short, I've decided to release an updated version of the .iso that I made. I've made a few changes to the .iso in order to make it a little more usable for others...instead of the stark and overly-basic system that I originally made for myself. :)

If you like living on the edge and want a rolling-release, MiyoLinux-Rolling is now available. This release is based on Devuan ceres; the UNSTABLE branch of Devuan...equal to Debian Sid. Use at your own risk. :) Please read the Live User Notes for an important note regarding installation. Available in 32bit, 64bit, and 64bit-EFI versions. It can be downloaded from...

Just a quick peek around at how the new .iso acts on my hardware. This was the first build (alpha), so I'm still working on it. :)
Get NuTyX GNU/Linux from their website...

...or on Sourceforge...

Nothing to see here...just letting people know that the keybinds work from the video that I linked to in my last video...

I've decided to make xterm my default terminal, but I wanted to make it look better. :)
Many thanks to Emmett of Venom Linux and several others who contributed their xterm customizations online...all from whom I borrowed a little from. ;)
You can download my .Xresources file here...
https://sourceforge.net/projects/miyolinux/files/Files/

If you add my .Xresources file and/or make any changes to it (or yours), you will need to run the following command after saving the file...
xrdb -load .Xresources

To give xterm opacity, I added the following to my picom.conf file...
opacity-rule = ["90:class_g*='XTerm'"];

In this video, I give an overview of the MiyoLinux Xfce system that was requested by a user.
Notes of interest...
This was a special build made by request; therefore, the only .iso available is for a 64 bit EFI computer. However, it can still be installed on a 64 bit BIOS computer if anyone is interested.
The 64 bit BIOS installation instructions are included in the Live User Notes of the live session.
There is also a fix for high RAM usage after installing the system. The fix is given in the Release Notes.
Many thanks to my friend eznix for supplying the fix! Check eznix out here...

Also, a huge and special thanks to Station Sixtyseven for all of his support over the years! As I mentioned in the video, if he hadn't taken a chance on trying out MiyoLinux, then MiyoLinux most likely would never have existed beyond my own computer. Thanks ghosty!

I've changed "My Crappy Music Player" so that the playlists in my music folder are separate from the radio stations that it plays...
In other words, I MIYOed it..."Make it your own".
While this Crappy Music Player doesn't supply all of the bells and whistles of others, it provides an easy way to do exactly what I want it to do...
1. Play my music folders.
2. Play the radio stations that I want it to.
No fuss. No muss.
