Jason Geh's 3 piece Jazz Band performed for a private birthday party at a bungalow residence off Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya on the 22nd of December 2012.
The jazz group consists of a saxophonist, female singer and Jason on keyboard. This band line up is sufficient outfit for most events however the inclusion of a guitarist and percussionist will be viable.
The party was located by the poolside with canopies established as it is raining season here in PJ. However it was fortunate for everyone that the weather was good. No rain.. Yay!
Jason's band performed during dinner with easy listening music at the beginning and with livelier repertoires at the latter half. There was some crowd participation towards the end with 2 members of the guest coming up on stage to sing songs with the band.
There was positive feedback from everyone during and after the event.

This chinese singer who sings mandarin, hokkien and english songs was the featured singer at this event in KL, Malaysia. There were two other singers who contributed their vocal talents as well.
The jazz guitarist known as the George Benson of Malaysia enthralled the audience with his powerful voice by singing some soul, jazz and bluesy songs.
The double bassist who is Indian by race but sings mandarin and hokkien songs on top of his normal selections of English golden oldies, country, jazz, pop, dance and other genre of musical styles.
We also had our very own Malaysian Kenny G performing and adding color to the live band who actually mingled among the audience when they were having dinner to serenade them.
There was a mix combination of guest during this event. People from China who love to listen to chinese songs as well as CIMB representatives who is more into jazz music.
Jason Geh's Band was the ideal live band entertainment as we have a versatile line up of singers and musicians that is able to perform a wide genre of music from jazz to even mandarin and hokkien songs.

This is the video of our Jazz Band performance in Kuantan during Larry and Russtey's wedding on the 25th of February 2012. The group consists of a singer, saxophonist, drummer and me as the keyboardist.
Watch the bridal entrance where the singer and saxophonist ushered the couple into the ballroom. Clips of the band's performance during the wedding dinner have been extracted and integrated for your viewing. There is also a clip of the drummer during his solo on a swing number.
