Are You Disturbed? Are You Scared? You Should Be! | Writing From the Depths of Your Soul
Writing from our soul and pouring out our emotions onto the page can be a very daunting proposition. But, it's a must if we want our readers to truly connect with our characters. It was a lesson that I had to learn if I was ever going to do my characters justice in my writing.
If you enjoy my videos, please consider giving me a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. I post vids on my journey and lessons I've learned, and continue to learn, every week.
Sometimes, we forget just what we put ourselves through being a writer. We feel weak and vulnerable and don't realize just how strong we already are to even attempt to do what we do. I wanted to encourage you that you are brave, bold, and courageous. You have the nerve to do what others can't. That being, a writer.

Hello friends!
It's been a hot minute since I've last posted. I'm getting back on the band-wagon. The last few months have been an absolute whirlwind. I've moved across town, been working on my next project (hopefully, to be released in March), and just trying to keep up with all the crazy that is my life. Lol!
Remember, WANDERLUSTED is available in eBook format at no charge until Saturday, March 2nd!

I'm nine months in with growing out my gray and I thought it would be fun to participate in the Gray Hair Tag that's been going around YouTube for the last several months. It's a great opportunity to get to know the Silver Sister community!

I know, I know... it's been FOREVER since I've uploaded a video. I hope 2020 wasn't too rough on you and that 2021 finds you doing better.
I'm thinking about expanding this channel to more of a life-style type of vlog, allowing me the liberty and creativity to discuss various topics that could be helpful or useful to you guys.
Let me know your thoughts and/or suggestions of what you would like to hear or see from me.
Keep well and safe!
xoxo,
CJ

I've tried this before, but always ended up just going back to talking about writing and sharing my thoughts. My life is not as exciting as it used to be when I was a fashion blogger. LOL!
Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy my attempt. If you do, please give me a thumbs up.

Sometimes, it's the little seemingly insignificant things that spark something inside of you. For me, it was M&M's. LOL! It can be difficult keeping ourselves motivated when we allow our momentum to slip away. I hope this encourages you to get and keep your beautiful spark of creativity going.
If you like my vids, please give me a "thumbs up" and subscribe. It really helps with reaching those who may need encouragement. We're all in this, together.

As I was getting ready to sit down for my writing sprints, this morning, I realized that I have to have so many things in order before I feel like I'm ready to tackle my writing for the day. Are you like that? If so, tell me what your writing rituals are.

I received my first negative review, today. I've always wondered how I would feel when this finally happened. I died a little on the inside and felt all kinds of emotions. Not because I was offended, but because I had to agree with a few of her points.
How do you react or respond when you receive a negative review? Or, how do you anticipate that you'll feel when it happens? Let me know.
