Dr. Steven Kern of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation presented a talk titled, "Accelerating Global Health Innovations Toward Real Solutions in the Field at the 6th Annual CEND Symposium. January 10, 2014 at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Kern heads the Quantitative Pharmacology group, a part of the Integrated Development Function at the Gates Foundation, focused on model based pharmacometric analysis to support program strategies for therapeutic projects that the foundation funds.
