Complex (yet simple to implement) Product Slider | Axure: Noob to Master, Ep89
Welcome to the new series on Axure RP 9 prototyping: Axure RP - Noob to Master. Axure is a muscle tool for high-fidelity prototypes and killer UX design.
Session #89: Complex (yet simple to implement) Product Slider in Axure RP.
In this session, I'll walk you through the step to create a complex column-based product slider. This case is an interesting experiment making a related product or main product list scroll horizontally. If you need another pattern for your eCommerce UX prototypes this just might be a perfect case to bookmark. I'll show you how to quickly set up a scene and display only a certain amount of elements to allow users to scroll through the slider.
In this video, I'll cover eight very specific mistakes when it comes to landing your first user experience job. Be it user research, product design or UX generalist roles - all will require clarity and know-how to ace your applications and the interviews to follow. I'll use my recently launched book to cover some of the ways to overcome these mistakes too. Make sure to pick your copy up by following the link below.

Session #81. Conditional Logic and Condition Builder
In this session, bit by bit I'll walk you through the conditional logic in Axure. I'll also showcase each option in Axure's Condition Builder feature. While mentioned and showcased before around the use cases, this UX prototyping feature (set) is a must. Basically, if you have an app or web platform in mind you can most likely design and prototype it using the conditional logic and/or the builder.
This video is the longer one, but definitely worth viewing and experimenting to learn this super powerful feature set.

In this short video highlight from the Get More Done as a UX designer Live stream, I'll cover the foolproof framework and tool to help prioritise the overwhelm in UX tasks and to-dos. Every UX designer and user researcher will face a choice paradox because of the sheer immensity of choices and activities they could make. The One Thing provides a very simple way to manage the tasks and actually get the right ones done.
Books mentioned in this video (if you purchase books via these links I might get a cent or two):
The One Thing by Gary Keller, Jay Papasan - https://amzn.to/34uHMP0
Just like other tools shared, this can be adopted by absolutely anyone - UX, product, engineers, tech and non-tech folk alike. It's a must know and keep in your arsenal to get more done in UX.

In this video, I'll cover the very important topic of looking at user needs and deeper underlying psychological factors when making UX research and product design decisions. Commonly growing designers tend to mix wants and needs from all types of stakeholders including themselves and the users. Being able to separate wants and needs can also aid in making appropriate and long term success-focused product/service decisions.
