#7DaysofVGM / CYBERPUNK Composition Challenge / Day 6: "Villainous Encounter"
The whole month is themed at CYBERPUNK. Today's prompt: "Villainous Encounter" Participants of this challenge are asked to create one composition every day for 7 days with the above topic and daily prompt, which is excellent practise of genres and time constraints.
Little late to the Day 6 party, as I was busy on the actual Day 6. Still wanted to do it, so I'm delivering this on Day 8 :D
Throwback to my very first game soundtrack, back in 2013.
First music I ever wrote, which was actually meant for a video game ? #spaghetti #western

So who would have thought, my daily piano practise on Instagram is still going (links below), here is today's piece: Full House on Piano
Background to this video:
I was told I'm playing too much in minor keys recently, so here's something non-minor, happy and fun.
Wasn't intentional to get to the Full House theme song at first, since I went to practise non-minor modes Ionian, Lydian and Mixolydian, then suddently I was like "... wait I know this chord from somewhere" - et voilà ??

The soundtrack I composed for this game features two versions:
A 'modern' orchestral/electronic hybrid and an 'oldschool' chiptune-ish version.
Each track exists twice, but in a different style. Due to exact same length and rhythm, the tracks can adapt and morph into each other in realtime and seaminglessly during the gameplay.
You are listening to the oldschool version of this track right now.
About the game by Grindstone:
Hellmut: The Badass from Hell is a fast-paced bullet-storm dungeon crawler. Use absurd Transformations to defeat demonic hordes, challenge random bosses in random levels, equip powerful guns, loot valuable treasures, and basically murderize a shockingly large number of demons.

Main Topic: JPRG, today's prompt: "Battle!"
I wanted to do another piano score, similar to day 1. Melody line again refers to my previous tracks for this month's challenge, in order to keep things consistent within one soundtrack family. Notating the syncopation took me a while, hope you enjoy the sheet music alongside the piano and visual effects. Let me know if any of you want the sheet music for download and I will upload it for you.
As usual, thanks for listening!
