4 Ways Chat GPT 4 Can Make Your Life Easier with A.I.
OpenAI has a Large Language Model called Chat GPT 4, and right now you can already use it to write emails, to summarize large articles, to turn notes into blog posts and to catch you up on movie franchises before you go see the latest sequel.
These Large Language Models are not Artificial Intelligence... Yet. But they are WELL on their way to changing our way of life once again.
I am confident that this is the technology that will have the biggest impact on the 2020's when we look back from the future.

If you already own a Ronin RS2 or RSC2 and have been thinking about more creative ways to use it - this is a good one. The cheap chinese camera slider!
#RONIN #RSC2 #cameraslider
Ive had my RSC2 gimbal for about a month now and I couldn’t be happier with the thing. Looking back at some of the camera gear I bought in the past that I WASNT so happy with, I remembered the terrible results I had with this cheap chinese motorized slider I bought to add some motion to a B camera for taking interview footage.
Its got these little knobs so that theoretically you can set it up to be always aiming at your subject, even while the camera takes a trip back and fourth on the rail. When it works, it makes for a pretty cool angle to bounce over to during an interview.
The problem is that it doesn’t work very often, and it takes a lot of fiddling with to set up.. BUT! Thats just setting up the process of aiming.. Getting it set up to move back and fourth is no problem at all. There are super expensive versions of these sliders like the Rhino Arc II that can track a subject and stay locked on no matter what; have a phone app and are basically awesome. But expensive.
Then it occurred to me… This thing has a regular tripod mount to connect a camera - so does the bottom of the RSC2 Gimbal.. This gimbal can track a subject, has an app and is super easy to set up and I ALREADY OWN ONE!
This became a rare case of mixing top of the line tech, with cheap chinese knock off tech, where the result is AMAZING! Wether you need a locked on shot for B-roll of a product, or you want to add a moving camera for a second shot of a scene. This combo can handle it and easily pass as a much more expensive version of what it is. Its no MKBHD Robot Arm, but I mean, its pretty sweet.

Microvision announced they were going to be at CES, the Consumer Electronics Show on January 5th - one of the biggest tech conventions of the year - Im not saying, Im just saying, but companies DO tend to make big announcements about their tech at CES..
I signed up as a member of the media under their portal, gave them access to my youtube analytics and they made the determination that I am influential enough to join the party!
SO, Im going to get my hands on a cassette of truth; I’ll take my super high resolution 4k stabilized camera and my biased opinion to the MVIS booth to bring to the world the closest look we’ve seen yet at their tech. I’ll ask questions, Ill find competitors and make comparisons. I will look Sumit in the eye and just gaze, and wait, and see if he can keep a poker face or if all will be revealed (of course he wont tell me secrets). But if there is any whisper of a partnership or a peep at whats to come- Ill be listening to hear it.. And If I can get my hands on one - Ill leave behind a signed portrait of DangDangDangman123 for their cooperation.
This is a pretty big deal for me, and for the Space Warehouse Youtube Channel.. I never knew this before, but CES is not open to the public. Only industry professionals and the media. Evidently my tentacles have spread far and wide enough to qualify as a member of the tech media!
Anyway - feel free to feed me ideas for what to try to get out of these guys, or what other technology to seek out at this show, its absolutely massive; spanning something like 10 different physical locations beyond the Vegas Convention Center. There are bound to be other LiDAR companies present - and certainly the biggest automakers; who’s concept cars I will happily prod through hoping to find a little black box the size of a few packs of playing cards.
Dang.

This is how a short call, also known as shorting a stock, works in the stock market. It seems counter intuitive to make money by a stock dropping in price - but here’s how that goes.
Lets say You own stock in SPACE and you have no intention of selling it for a long time - its stock price is $10 per share. I come to you and say “hey I would like to borrow 1 share of your SPACE stock… Ill pay you interest an agree to give you your stock back at a specified time.” So, you will temporarily lend me 1 share of SPACE stock, I will hang on to it for an agree upon amount of time and then give you back 1 share of this same stock back plus some money for your trouble.
How do I make money by borrowing your stock share? Im betting that the price of your SPACE stock is going to fall.
I borrow the stock from you for $10 and immediately sell it, now I have $10 dollars and no stock.. After the agreed upon amount of time has gone by, if my bet pays off - the stock price has dropped down to 5 bucks, so I go back to the stock market and buy 1 share back and I give it to you. I have now profited that $5 difference minus the interest I promised to pay, and you still have your 1 stock, nothing has changed for you plus you got the interest for doing nothing.
#stockshort #stockmarket #explainer
But if the stock goes up, Im in trouble. Because our agreement is basically a contract and I still have to give you that 1 share in the amount of time we agreed and if SPACE stock is now $15, then I have to go to the market and spend $15 to get a stock to pay you back plus the interest, and I will have lost $5.
So youre betting on the stock price to drop and when it does you buy it back to make money.
It doesn’t happen very often, but right now its 2021 and in the matter of a week, GME stock went from $15 to $400!! And there had been some big players making big short calls on that stock before it went up, and they are on the hook for that increase in price PER SHARE in some cases with thousands and thousands of shares on the line. Thats trouble.
This has been a simplified explanation for how shorting a stock works. Im Nicholas Johnson; this is the Space Warehouse.

#amazon #basics #microphone
If you bought the Amazon Basics Professional Mic II and dont understand how to use the four icons on the top dial, this video will explain them for you.
Cardioid pattern will record just whats in front of the microphone, as in facing the dials.
Omnidirectional will record in a spherical pattern in all directions
Bi-Directional (snowman shape) will record whats in front and behind the microphone
Stereo will record separate left and right channels to the left and to the right of the microphone, and will also pick up whats in front of the mic really well.
This microphone is actually really high quality and can compete with much more expensive studio desktop mics.
In this video I show how much clearer the sound is compared to a shotgun mic mounted on the camera only a few feet away VS the sound coming through this mic.

Why are gas gwei fees so high when taking Strong out of your nodes? Because you have to pay gas on however many nodes youre earning from individually!
You can pay lower gas fees though, and in this video I will show you how!
The Realities of StrongNode Fees and How to Lower Them!
I’ve had my strongblock nodes.. Well my first Strong nodes since November 28th - so for just about two months now. Ive since bought a few more, so people are always wondering how long it takes to make back what you put in, and I kind of have no idea what I put in.. I bought three in november in the 400’s, then a couple in December in the 500’s - then we went on a little run in January and I did manage to yank some out before this dip were experiencing now, and I just bought my 7th node in the 400’s again during the current dip. So my average node purchase price Ill bet is about 5000 bucks.
Ive only taken profits two times - both times in the 600’s! So in MY lucky case, it will take less than 100 days to get back the USD amount that I put in to start these up because I got lucky. And I assume Ill get lucky again, since everything took a pretty hard hit this last week, odds are itll recover higher than it is now at some point, who knows when, who cares - and when it does, I can pull out some more STRONG, convert it to ETH, move it to an exchange pay huge fees each step of the way - and get America bucks for it.
BEFORE I LEARNED HOW TO LOWER THE FEES - I screen recorded the process of taking STRONG out of the app in case people were wondering just how big these fees are by default. Theyre not like normal Ethereum gas fees. If I were to simply send 10 STRONG from my metamask wallet into my Trust wallet, it’ll cost like 10 bucks.. but when I want to take STRONG out of the StrongBlock app, its usually over $200!
Part of whats happening here is that Im not just taking 6 Strong out of a wallet and moving it into my wallet. Im taking strong out of 7 different Nodes - so im paying gas on that 7 different times.
Heres the part of the video, though, where I tell you how to pay less fees! Sure wish doing this was more clearly marked on the apps for the times I’ve paid gas fees just to pay maintenance fees, and then paid gas fees 7 times to take money out of the ecosystem.
See this little gear on the upper right corner of the Trust App.. Hit that thing and you can open these fields where you can set your max fee in Gwei… Set that lower, and all that means is your transaction wont go through until the network is less clogged up - probably at 3am or some time, so just go to bed and wake up with STRONG in your wallet!
You can do the same thing for paying the monthly fees. If you set that number TOO low, your transaction will never go through. T

Here’s how to make a desktop greenhouse for seedlings.
In order to sprout seeds into seedlings that grow into plants, you need to germinate. Sure, you can just use a plastic baggy and some paper towel, but I decided to CNC out a custom DIY germination greenhouse with my Xcarve using easel software.
This is a step by step video of that process.
This video is filmed on my Sony alpha a6600 mounted onto a Ronin SC gimbal using a 16mm sigma lens and a 50mm Sony lens
