I look at the 1977 Holmes Basic rules as well as the 1981 B/X set for Dungeons and Dragons. For this video I decided to make a shorter overview - if you prefer the longer form style let me know in the comments.
Holmes took elements from Original DnD and created a new variant of the game, whilst B/X launched a sperate parallel version of DnD that competed with Advanced DnD. I currently have no plans to cover BECMI or the Cyclopedia as they are essentially evolutions of the B/X set and would have made this video a super long edit like parts 1 and 2.
Like many other players I switched across to the ‘superior’ ADnD product line once funds allowed. But discussing that will be for the next episode – although it may be a while before I get round to researching, filming and releasing it.

The one where I start to discuss whats good about Mass Effect 2.
Yes we have got past [mostly] the ranting and we are starting to get to the cool bits of ME2! Once we are done here we get to recruit some new crew and delve into the excellent bits of the game.

"The world is broken. In a collapsing universe, your crew is your only family. DEATH IN SPACE takes you to a grimy blue-collar future in a universe filled with risk, but also opportunity."
Welcome to the Tenebris system!
Death in Space is published under the Free League Workshop banner. It is a creepy post apocalypse sci fi setting with weird stuff going on and every thing is falling apart. It runs with a rules light engine to get that OSR sci fi kick. Originally a Kickstarted product it is becoming available now and is a quality product.
I flip through the book I snagged via the pre order, discuss the rules and highlight some of its pros and cons. I think it is a fine product in what is becoming a bit of a crowded rpg niche. I am glad I have it, as it is lush to look at and hold, the white on black layout is easy on the eye and makes it fairly readable - shame its not an A4 sized book.
I recommend you check it out if you like gritty, dark, horror Sci-Fi style of films, books or games.

Picket takes on Drellen and his minions. A Solo session of "Too Many Bones" from Chip Theory Games, my first ever play through of this rpg style game.
Any errors are deliberate to check your watching, I do comment in a few places if I caught myself and also at end i clarify a few points.
We start with Games setup, I play the first few Encounters and then cut away to discuss an awesome fight which I didn't film. We then reset to take on Drellen.

Star Wars exploded into our lives back in 1977, West End Games would launch the d6 RPG in 1987, in 2018 FFG finally brought it back into print in this 30th Anniversary box set. By combining the first edition core book and the source-book in a slip case, FFG have allowed modern players to get their hands on a modern printing of this classic rpg. I take a quick peek at the fabulous reprint! The game covers the original trilogy and helped build the extended universe of Star Wars cannon - well it did until the prequels and other IP owners ejected the EU stuff as cannon.

For Part 2 I play through of a made up scenario, in the Inn, to give you an idea of the game in action. I also show you the "Kickstarter extras" box and make a few errors.
Whoops:
Each figure makes individual attacks so the Picts should roll dice individually not en masse.
The snake auto blocks 3 damage and would need to spend crystals to roll blocking dice, so Conan would probably have killed the Snake as he did loads of damage in one turn around 23:18 and again at 25.32.
I also think i should have had a crystal left over for Conan on a couple of turns late in the game as he gets a free one from his axe.
Pop quiz - How many turns did the Heroes take before we ended the game coverage?

In this video I actually try playing a game straight from the "Journal", aka the rulebook. I try to survive for 2 days and learn the game as I film. Expect some spoilers, disturbing story elements and a few playing errors.
WARNING SPOILERS, SPOILERS, did i mention SPOILERS?
This video does contain some spoilers, after a brief introduction, you have been warned.
Its a very good "fun" narrative game about surviving, in a conflict zone, as a civilian under siege. I am also impressed how well it works as a solo game, playable straight out of the box. Well done Galakta and 11 bit studios.
Corrections:
Should have played an Event at the start of Day 2 and that would place a Cold counter. I think i should have made 2 or 3 noise checks.
For ease of filming I didn't always shuffle decks, simple placed cards next to draw deck.
