Avatar: The Way of Water has grossed over 2 billion at the Worldwide Box Office. Since it's release back in December. James Cameron has had a lot to say about a great many things. In a recent interview the King of the World at the box office has seemingly taken shots at Marvel's trademark hammy and cutesy jokes. Which is very interesting because both Avatar and Marvel movies are financed by Disney. However, it is James Cameron and he does whatever he wants. And we are here to cover it all ?? Thanks for watching!
Here we are with our Mighty Review of Thor: Love and Thunder. We both had a lot to say going into this film, and the film has somewhat drawn a divisive reaction. But, we all know the only opinions that truly matter comes from the Turk and Raz Podcast, right ??? So grab your hammers, and join us as we break it all down town....and all around!
Brad Pitt is taking a ride on a train, and we got the bullets. Join us as we review this high paced zany action/comedy by director David Leitch. A film about five assassins on a fast moving bullet train who come to find out their missions have something in common. Does this movie hold up to the likes of John Wick or Kill Bill? Find out!
We just wanted to let people know about who we are and the kinds of films we love and care for. We want to help preserve cinema from the past by having roundtable discussions on older films. All right, all right, all right. Not to worry. There's a new fiesta in the the making as we speak. It's on the Turk & Raz Podcast. Full kegs. Everybody's gonna be there. You oughta go. We're taking you back to the 70s for our Retro Roundtable on one of the all time cult classic movies - Dazed and Confused (1993). Marijuana on one. Reefer on two....thanks for listening.
One more thing. Wooderson may love his redheads, but here on Turk and Raz we love all the ladies! ??
What happens when you cast a body builder, a dancer, and a surfer in a sword-and-sandal fantasy film. You get the 1982 epic - Conan the Barbarian. Arnold stars as Conan, who was sold into slavery as child after the genocide of his family and people, sets off on an quest to find the evil sorcerer Thulsa Doom who is responsible.
The film is an amazing adventure filled with swords, bizarre creatures, and tons of blood and gore. But, most importantly it is filled with beautiful sexy women and super oiled up muscle flexing dudes kicking ass and taking names!
Hollywood take note: This is how you are supposed to portray strong female leads! Thanks for listening.
For this episode Raz flies solo and goes deeper down the rabbit hole with Hayden Christensen's potential evolvement in the Ahsoka series. He also unpacks whether or not George Lucas inserting Hayden in 2004 at the end of Return of the Jedi as a force ghost - will finally pay off as a genius move? And will this mean Anakin Skywalker will finally have the high ground in the Star Wars Universe......or will he be destined to lose another limb?! All this and more in this episode. Thanks for listening!
Oh hidey-ho officer, we've had a doozy of a day!
We are here with our third Halloween Retro Roundtable episode. This time we thought we would select a wonderful, lighthearted, enjoyable movie, with a great cast and a great story, you'll find yourself in stitches at the scenarios in this movie. Actually, more like in pieces
This is not Scary Movie crap. Tucker and Dale vs Evil is an inventive and fresh take on the horror/slasher spoofs - with a lot of heart. Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk are the "Hillbillies" in this hilarious tale of prejudice and paranoia. This movie is dumb and dumber gone fishing meets Friday the 13th
If you are a fan of dark comedy horror movies! Then this is a Turk & Raz Retro Roundtable you will not want to miss. Thanks for listening.
