1991 Montgomery Conventional Hydraulic Elevator @ Dillards of Carolina Place Mall (Pineville, NC)
Well this is... interesting. At first glance, it just looks like your typical Innovation Universal slap on, until you realize it’s original and from the 1990’s and it's Montgomery Conventional! Not gonna lie, I prefer this style of IU buttons over the newer ones. This also has a Circular Floor Indicator, which of course doesn’t work sadly. This lift would be better if the indicator worked properly, but other than that, this doesn’t offer much.

This was an Otis Lexan at a Shopping Plaza. I was looking forward to filming a Lexan, but it broke on me. LMAOOOOOOOOOO
I can likely tell this would be a piece of shit anyway. The door operator is so screwed up, it goes way too far back where it slams. The door is so out of line, it doesn't close all the way and it doesn't go up since the door doesn't fully close. This thing likely runs horrible too, but I couldn't really judge that since it refused to move. Myrtle Beach for you.
To be fair, it is a Boring Base Model with just the buttons, but I haven't filmed a Lexan in so long, so I was kinda bummed about this. Oh well.
This was the last thing I was expecting! This was a super cool find. It sucks that the Analog Indicator was replaced with an Adams one, and it's ass backwards, but overall this is super cool!

I was expecting something not boring and I sadly didn't get that. Instead, I get a Traditionally Boring with horrible looking call stations and the inside... surprisingly doesn't look too bad. It even runs well for an outside elevator to my surprise. This is possibly a Vertical Express.

This was at AB Tech, a very interesting C College located in a weird area near the "Hospital City" (as I dub it) just north of Biltmore. Let's start with one of the lamest thing here.
The only thing to really say is that it's the oldest (as of now) VR 330A, but besides that, there is not much to say about this snore fest.
Hope you guys enjoy the new and more descriptive specs on these elevator videos. These will also include other specs like Touchscreens, DD Panels, Voices, etc. when needed!

These are my first 400AE's, which is pretty much the 400A model with a new name. This set makes some of the strangest noises I've ever heard, but they run pretty well. These are pretty late 400AEs as well, as this was put in around 2014 or 2015. Across from these on the other side are First Year 5500's! (video coming soon)
I would be careful filming these as I did get kinda busted off camera. I didn't get in trouble or anything, they were just a bit concerned about where I was going or if I was doing some suspicious, but they let me off after I told them I parked here and was looking for my car (in which I did park here).

I haven't filmed this thing since 2020. This is a basic but well maintained and running Early 1990's Impulse with unusually large Call Panels. Other than that, these aren't nothing really out of the ordinary.

Here are two more VR HT's to film, but with a twist, They're Traction! I actually filmed these first before the 400A in one of the parking garages.
While the fixtures are boring, the cabs are admittedly fun to ride as they go a bit fast! The Left Cab oddly has no floor pass chime, while the chime on the right cab is high pitched. Both elevators also have voices, which is interesting. While they sometimes make noises, it isn't too excessive compared to the other HT VR's I've ridden in the Biltmore Park Parking Garages.
As likely noted in the last video, I think the Key Card readers are only activated at night, but I'm not 100% sure.

Here is another elevator that Asheville slapped their logo on. Despite the dominance asserted by Asheville, this is definitely a General Elevator.
For Generic Themed Elevators, I definitely do like these Generals a lot! They always have cool features and good Fixtures, usually GAL JetPlus in my case, in which is what we got in here. The motors are usually epic, but this one is lacking and rather rumbly. Definitely the coolest part is the Floor Indicator, which I think is an IEE Indicator like what Otis uses! I can't confirm if it is or not, but it looks and functions exactly like one. The door operators however are crap and need replacing, but overall I'm so glad this isn't modded!
