CarnEvil is a 1998 light gun shooter arcade game released by Midway Games. It is often noted for its heavy use of graphic violence and dark humor. It is Midway Games' most successful light gun shooter.
?? PLOT ??
CarnEvil is set in the fictional town of Greely Valley, Iowa, wherein the protagonist (called "Jacob" in the manual) takes a tour through the town cemetery. According to the story's premise, if a golden token is inserted into the mouth of the jester's head on top of the tombstone of "Professor Ludwig von Tökkentäkker", a haunted amusement park will appear after long absence. Jacob and his friend Lisa investigate this legend, and fulfill the conditions of the premise; whereupon the jester's head comes to life and raises the undead carnival from the ground, all trying to take their brains. During this process, Jacob obtains a shotgun from the shooting gallery at the entrance to fight through hordes of monsters, zombies, and insects. Jacob faces enemies in the three attractions - the Haunted House, Rickety Town, and Freak Show - and must defeat a strong 'boss character' at the end of each, as well as periodic sub-bosses. After escaping all three areas, he enters the Big Top, and fights clowns and circus animals to reach the center ring, whence he is taken to Tökkentäkker's zeppelin to face Tökkentäkker and his jester Umlaut. Tökkentäkker is defeated when the player strikes him into the zeppelin's propellers, causing both to collapse. Thereafter Jacob wakes in the cemetery, which has returned to normal. Seeing the token emerge from Tökkentäkker's tombstone, he re-inserts it while Lisa orders him not to do so.

Time Crisis is a first-person on-rails light gun shooter series of arcade video games by Namco, introduced in 1995. The arcade series differed from other light gun shooters of its time by incorporating unique mechanics, including the ability to duck into cover to dodge attacks and reload the player's weapon, and forcing players to complete battles in each level within an allotted amount of time.
?? PLOT ??
The Time Crisis arcade game is set in 1995 and revolves around the series of events that occur in the aftermath of actions taken by an international protection agency called V.S.S.E. The agency choose to aid rebel forces in the Sercian Republic. The V.S.S.E. played a major part in overturning a century-old authoritarian regime by helping Sercian opposition leader, William McPhearson, gain control of the region. McPhearson goes on to be elected president of the new Sercian Republic. Unfortunately, the last survivor of the old regime, Sherudo Garo, then launches a battery of attacks and calculated assassinations with the aim of destabilizing the entire country. The crowning move on Garo’s part was then to kidnap Rachel, the daughter of President McPhearson, with the aim of exchanging sensitive military secrets for her life.

Ranger X, also known as Ex-Ranza in Japan, was published by Sega for the Genesis/Mega Drive in 1993. It was barely marketed and was practically ignored by pretty much everyone. At first glance, it appears to be a platformer with heavy shooting elements – it’s easy to think of the Assault Suits games (Target Earth and Cybernator) – but upon further examination, there’s a whole lot more gameplay underneath. Not to mention some of the most incredible graphics on the Genesis.

The Homeworld has been invaded by a confederation of Edgezone terrorists – unleashing mechanical and biological plagues. You are Ranger X – a giant mech with unique fighting capabilities. You have the task of clearing out various machines and weapons in each area, then going after the colorful boss enemies.

The four eponymous Turtles — Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael — must rescue their news reporter friend April O'Neil, and later their beloved Master Splinter, from the clutches of the Shredder and the Foot Clan.
