Welcome to a playthrough of the quasi-sequel to Divine Divinity. Classifying this game is difficult as it does officially happen, but then Divinity 2 came out a few years later to be the 'official' sequel. Weird. Anyway, this game seems to be somewhat maligned, but I'm going to give it a go and see what everything is all about.
This system is WAY easier than Circe. Had it not been for dumb luck, I would have beat this mission on the first try. Maybe had I brought a better wingman...
I was almost able to divide this excursion into two even videos, but the second one is a bit longer. The northern section of this forest is fully explored along with the Lich cave.
I show off the ScummVM settings I used for Space Quest I and also compare the IBM PCjr sound used in ScummVM to the PC speaker sound that I had set up in DOSBox-X so you can hear the improvements offered by that platform as well as the Tandy way back when.
Since I got diverted back to High Hall, I remembered my good friend Beatrice saying something about a Zagan. The fight against him was really difficult due to the limited area to maneuver in, but I won out in the end.
Fixing the manuscript seems to be one of the shorter ways of completing the game next to using Bernard it seems. You can do it so quickly that you just end up standing around waiting for time to pass...
I was expecting this to be a tough mission. It was not. To be fair, I just glanced over the description and it said I was going to get jumped by 9 retros. That SOUNDED bad, but they only do it in waves of three, so not a challenge at all. More easy money.
I split up this challenge map into two videos. The clock is misleading as it gets paused in the middle of hacking, so the actual length of playing this map takes quite a bit of time to complete.
