If we are truly in a "New Age" then we cannot go forward with old material or "Old" Knowledge. A New Age must by its reality come with "New" Knowledge which cannot be gained by using old knowledge and old ways. Doing so will only lead you back to the "Old Age" that has already past. Humanity is stuck in the "Past" but has entered into a different "Age" or "New Age" but is relying on Old Age Knowledge which will only work in that "Age" for which it was meant.
