ADDITIONAL DIET ADVICE:

I am a firm believer (and I am also the living proof) that we can heal our body on a vegan diet.

What is even more important, which I have learned through my own healing journey and watching the healing journey of hundreds of students, is that eating too much animal protein including land animals and fish… will actually be a major disruptor for the endocrine system, liver, kidneys, adrenals and the gut to begin to heal.

These are the major organs and glands we are working with when it comes to hormonal imbalance, PCOS or endometriosis.

It’s very important to explore what is right for you body from a clean slate, and get yourself away from the traditional indoctrination and advice we receive from doctors and self-healing books on the topic of PCOS and insulin resistance.

Do not take advice from anyone accept your own beautiful body. Listen to its intuitive responses and follow your body's true healing path from this perspective.

FAT & PROTEIN:

The adrenals and your blood sugar will initially need some fats and proteins at first because when the endocrine system (the glands) are weak they need the fat as a toxin-absorber (omega-3 fats are an anti-inflammatory) and they also need the protein for the energy and the stimulant effect, which is why animal protein feels good in the body, because we receive all the extra hormones the animal released into their blood at the time of the slaughter, so this gives our glands a start-up effect, quite like a car battery that has died and needs a jump-start from another car.

In saying that, overtime as your adrenals start to heal and your body starts to release stored toxins, you will notice your body feels lighter and lighter and needs less and less fat and protein and it will thrive on healthy carbs.
