I have wanted a Vita Mix for years. I broke down and bought an old used one on eBay for a little over 100 bucks. I reviewed all the different blenders, from the little $29 Osters that mix in a canning jar, which is cool and about all most people will ever need, to the newer competitors of Vita Mix like the Ninja and Blendtec. I know they may beat the Vita mix in some areas, but I kept coming back to the Vita Mix. They have been making Vita Mix for decades. The model I bought first came out in 1969. People are still using them. Using them a lot.
I did some checking, there are over 4 million Vita Mix that have been sold. The company has only 4 people in their repair department.
The other reason I got the Vita mix is if I ever decide to upgrade, Vita Mix will give me 100 dollar credit for this one.
Finally, I wanted to do some experimenting in the kitchen, and don't know of a kitchen gadget that will allow me to do more .
I said in the video I will not be making a lot of green smoothies, because so many people have already made good videos on the subject, but I will probably do some. I am hoping to do stuff that is not already been posted on YouTube concerning cooking with blenders like the vita mix.
I just want to have a little fun trying some different stuff and hope you guys want to come along.

This is a great little lunch or light dinner made in a mini Hawkins pressure cooker. The ravioli are cooked in the broth without pressure after the soup is done to add flavor to the pasta.
RECIPE
one piece of chicken, I prefer thigh meat with the bone for flavor.
mixed vegetables and onions and celery
parsley
red pepper
black pepper
turmeric
Chicken bouillon- I prefer Orrington farms as they use a minimum of chemicals and no MSG
3 1/2 cups of water.
Baby Bella mushrooms
Pressure cook on high until it steams then low for 15 minutes. Meat should be tender.
remove meat and vegetables and boil pasta 4 minutes.
remove pasta and return ingredients removed earlier but cut the chicken into pieces.
sprinkle grated cheese on pasta.
Enjoy.

I made a video a while ago showing how to make little mini pies using rolled out flat bread for the pie crusts. I used tart pans in the video. A lot of people may not have tart pans so i showed in this video how good looking little mini pies look using old tuna cans anybody can save and re use if they do not have any tart pans.
These little pies make excellent ways to serve up leftovers and are very delicious and quick to make if you have a small toaster oven.
This is another quick low cost DIY item I have come up with that is fun to make and I have not seen other people do.
I add new DIY, tightwad, outdoor, prepper, cooking,fishing,frugal film making, and other types of videos on my youTube channel every week.

I made a video in March 2021 about using mouthwash and nasal rinse to reduce the viral load of Covid 19. I provided a study that indicated using specific mouthwash or nasal rinse with a specific amount of baby shampoo reduced a similar virus to Covid 19 in the laboratory. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jmv.26514
Recently there has been testing to indicate specific mouthwash will reduce the actual Covid 19 virus and not just one that is similar. The study claims that people with poor oral hygiene or poor dental health have much worse outcomes in the hospital with Covid 19. Their study claims patients who are given a specific mouthwash to use and also have them brush their teeth reduce the amount of time they are in the hospital for the virus significantly.
I think this is very interesting news and deserves more study. It would be wonderful if the severity of any virus could be reduced by something as simple as brushing her teeth and gargling. I would like to see them do more studies on the nasal rinse with shampoo like I am using.

This video describes my first and continued experiences with paroxysmal Atrial fibrillation or afib over 5 years, my doctor prescribed treatment, my search for alternative afib treatment, my daily experience living with afib, my reasons for deciding to have a cardiac ablation procedure and the results of the ablation after 15 months.
I need to add that while I will be starting up my exercises again I will be using my heart monitor and not going over 85% of my maximum heart rate. I am certain I went over my maximum while doing my pushups earlier.

5mg rosuvastin 1 every other day
1 tsp cod liver oil 1x
1 daily multivitamin
Lots of fiber, vegetables, fruit, blueberries, nuts, peas, oats, mackerel, sardines, rye bread, whole-wheat pasta, yogurt, and salmon and a little turkey or liver once in a while. No more caffeine or alcohol or chocolate.
I think my daily fiber and berries and vegetable pea soup has been a big help in lowering my cholesterol as has my big reduction is sugar.
