In this video, I go over how to play media from a USB thumb drive or portable hard drive on the Quest (Oculus Quest USB OTG Media) Oculus Quest USB storage isn't natively supported, but with this workaround, you'll definitely be able to save tons of space on the headset. This is the only way I've found to play USB media on Oculus Quest in 3D and 360. It is restricted to files 4gb or less (sorry, don't blame me, it's an Android system limitation). There is a way to play non 3D/360 movies over 4gb (or transfer them from the USB device to the headset for 3D/360 to play), but it's a bit more complicated to setup.
