Box Canyon ride near Florence, AZ
Ah, what a day! Had a blast even with my worn out tires. We had 5 KTM's, one Honda CR250, and me on my Gas Gas EC250. One KTM suffered a smashed radiator, the Honda a bent hand guard, and a bent shifter on mine. For those thinking of doing this ride, it is a B or better level rider trail with lots of rocks with steep climbs covered by loose rocks and dirt. NOTE: The coke ovens are closed. We didn't know this when we got there as all the signage and fencing closing it off had been destroyed. We found out after leaving and seeing the signage on the ground on the opposite side of where we came in.

Well, this night didn't go as planned for many reasons. Ted kept getting lost, had to deal with a flat tire, dust was really bad, and to top it off, I crashed the hardest I have since breaking my neck/back. Even with all that, and I'm still healing up, I still enjoyed the ride!

The ride of this trail is nearly complete but it's missing about an awesome 1/4 mile technical section because I wasn't sure where the trail went. I didn't want to get off line in this section as it is one you don't want to mess up and possibly end up in a very bad fall off a 10-15ft cliff edge.
