How to get the most out of your lunges
? Step out long enough to allow your front shin to stay vertical with your knee over your heel
? Stay as upright as possible. Don't lean forward
? Drive through your heel in the front foot when you stand. This activates the glutes and takes pressure off your knees
? Don't tightrope. Keep your feet a comfortable distance apart. You'll have better balance that way
