Where i bailed - railroad tracks 1100E 1100W, West Bountiful/Woods Cross, Utah
Stupidly dangerous and awful road design here in Utah. I'll admit that i wasn't expecting the tracks to come in at this angle, and didn't think about the danger since i'd never seen tracks intersect a road at this angle in 19+ years of bicycling in various parts of the western USA.

Front wheel was sucked into the tracks despite me trying to make a slight left. I had a fat 2.5" wide tire and that didn't save me. Went flying off the bike and was peeled off the road by a guy who stopped after seeing me.. he told me that he wrecked there too when he was a kid.

There is a slight incline before the tracks, preventing you from seeing them far ahead of time. At 20mph, you have about 3 seconds after seeing them to figure out what to do.
