Top Republican House Members (Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes among them) are asking Nancy Pelosi to answer for her actions on January 6th. What did she know? Why did she not accept the additional troops from President Trump? What's with the back-alley plastic surgery good looks? Instead of answering those questions (she has to respond to the motion somehow) there is going to be an expensive and expansive 9/11-Style Independent Commission to investigate! Yay... waste of money. Not to be out done with useless ideas, Eric Swalwell's brainwave idea is to enact another commission exclusively to root out 'Domestic Terror and White Nationalism'. I recommend a commission on CCP Involvement with the Democratic Party. Yet to hear back on the proposal. Candice Bergen will be the interim leader of the Conservative Party of Canada while the party formalizes a conference to select new leadership. As long as she keeps the same energy she had in slapping down the Liberals earlier in the week, she's a totally acceptable stand-in for the time being. The RCMP are sending reinforcements to deal with the scary truckers at the Alberta Border. Those meanies won't leave the allegedly "unlawful" protest, but instead of doing something about it, the cops are calling for backup. The proper protest in Ottawa's GoFundMe has been paused and some people are receiving refund notices. Politicians in the area have been big mad with the money raised, as it has eclipsed $10 million. But where was this fervor when BLM was "peacefully protesting" in 2020? Funny how their fundraising was allowed to continue unimpeded, until the feds couldn't get their taste. Really strange how this works.
