Mr.Fiala is the current leader of the Czech Presidency in the EU . This is the text of his speech: "The present government always relies on the recipe from Brussels. But what is that Brussels´ recipe in fact? Do you know any of it working well? Myself not. Brussels has the only answer to everything. If anything does not work here in our country Brussels´ answer is "because you are still not pro-European enough". It is interesting nevertheless that all what is working well on the national level does not work on the Brussels´level and it fails then. At the same time - the measure of the irrationality rises. Everybody who has locked himself/herself to the air-conditioned office - to be isolated from the reality - suffers from that irrationality. And he/she forms - in front of the computer screen only - plans how to improve our lives. Euro currency does not work - in the South at least (probably is too hot there), prices of energies are high both for entrepreneurs and households, so we compulsorily determine the percentage of renewable sources, declare the full ban on the nuclear energy, increase (many times) prices of the energy thinking that we will be more competitive than the rest of the world where they refuse such ideological nonsenses and do what is simply advantageous and profitable to them. Do you consider it to be logic? Me not. It is against the common sense. I even think - time to time - that the European policy is against healthy reason - even against "a little ill" sense. We behave sometimes as fools and fools think they are surely healthy. Europe is permanently loosing its position. New economic powers fly alongside Europe faster than the Pendolino train. It is nice to comfort ourselves by saying that Japanese, Chinese, Indians can never overtake us besause they are not creative enough - as we are. But they believe in the education, hard work and innovations more than we do. And they are ready to sacrifice a lot. They show us everyday - by their intensive work - how creative they are. It is not necessary to look at far countries in the world. If you look at our hardworking and skilful Vietnamese citizens and their clever children at schools for example - do you really think they are not creative?
