Studying the Bible with others is incredibly helpful for our spiritual growth and understanding. When we gather together to study God's word, we have the opportunity to learn from one another, gaining different perspectives and insights. It allows us to deepen our understanding of the scriptures and helps us to apply its teachings in our daily lives. By engaging in group study, we can encourage and support one another, holding each other accountable in our faith journey. Additionally, studying with others fosters a sense of community and unity, as we come together to seek God's truth and wisdom. It is through these shared experiences that we can grow in our relationship with God and with one another. So, let us embrace the discipline of studying the Bible with others, for it is through this collective effort that we can truly experience the transformative power of God's word. #biblestudy ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLzsWZ8JOto

1 In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me: “Flee like a bird to your mountain. 2 For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. 3 When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?” 4 The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. 5 The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. 6 On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. 7 For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face. (Psalm 11:1-7)
Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we feel like running away. We want to quit and leave everything behind. Maybe there is too much pressure. Maybe you're having a hard time dealing with people. Whatever the reason, it's important to understand that running away is a choice, but it's not the only choice. We can run to the Lord instead.

Signs of True Repentance | By Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
Date: Nov 1, 2022
Text: Psalm 51:1-19
We all sin. It would be safe to say that most of us feel sorry whenever we sin. But not all of us know how to truly repent. That makes all the difference. Without true repentance, we cannot experience true acceptance from God. God wants to forgive us, but sometimes we don't want to repent.

What are the signs of true repentance?
Four Signs
1. True confession (vv.1-6).
2. True desire for God's restoration (vv.7-12).
3. True passion to worship and serve again (vv.13-17).
4. True concern for the community, not just self (vv.18-19).
Central Idea: “True repentance results in true acceptance from God.” (“Ang tunay na pagsisisi ay nagreresulta sa tunay na pagtanggap ng Diyos.”)

Having the correct view of God and success are foundational matters. They prepare you to be a dreamer and a doer. But you cannot be an ordinary dreamer. You cannot just dream about anything and then do it yourself. You need to see God's dream for you and pursue it by faith.

How to Discern an Open Door | Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
An "Open Door" is an opportunity given by God to us so that we can experience the presence of Christ, the purpose of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Thus, it is our foretaste of heaven on earth. But how do we know if an "Open Door" is actually set before us by God? What if we are wrong? How can we be sure? In other words, how do we discern an "Open Door"? The answer? We need to TEST it.

Join me this coming Friday, July 28, as we learn together how to practice the Sabbath as born-again Christians. It's not just an Old Testament practice; it's for us, too. We don't want to miss the blessings of experiencing God's rest as He promised. Our first session is entitled "Stop."
