the-end-of-2019
Welp. This is it. We're officially at the end of 2019 and the decade of the 2010s. It has been a wild ride, a rollercoaster even. It has been extremely crazy for me. There's so much I have done. There's surviving through secondary school (which I started in 2008), winning a Jack Petchey award, graduating school, entering my college life, began my YouTube life, having a few work experiences, earning certificates, going out on trips, breaking video call records, making multiple YouTube videos, writing stories, starting voice acting, leaving college, the list goes on.
But of course, there are some bad stuff. Getting bullied on a constant basis, tons of verbal abuse, traumatic experiences, writer's block, too much rushing about, the passing of three college teachers, my Mainstream media course going wrong, almost choking to death in my sleep etc. So bad, I felt like I just couldn't take any more pressure.
However, there are a few highlights throughout the decade. My school graduation, my YouTube life, seeing Tale of the Brave with SmurfyDan at Vue Cinema in Valley Park in 2014, my voice acting hobby, passing my Speaking and Listening Exam, going to Transition Plus B, gaining 2K subscribers and 1M views, making over 2,000 videos, landing several roles in redubs, fan series, audio dramas and movies such as Thomas in Thomas' Father and The Day That Changed Sodor for Rob the Green Engine, 'Arry for Thomas1Edward2Henry3's The Engines of Sodor finale (both Phantom Saboteur and Wrath on the Rails) and Professor Flaten for Baby Lamb Creations' movie, Baby Lamb and Friends: The Movie, seeing Big World! Big Adventures!: The Movie 3 times, the End of Year Show, finishing college after 6 whole years, being home alone for a week and going through a whole year without getting sick.
And I have made loads of great friends irl and online. You guys are the greatest. If I haven't met you all, I would be all alone and isolated. I hope that one day, I'll get the chance to go to some meetups. If I can.
And so, here we are now. We're now at the end of the year. And I have a few final words to say. Thank you all so much for the love, encouragement and support you have given me throughout the years. It has been a pleasure to have you by my side. No matter what happens, we'll always be together and we'll always be in our hearts. Through the good times and the bad times, just keep your spirits high and hope for a brighter future.
With that said, this is Jonathan Asiamah-Acheampong and I hope to see you guys in 2020. Goodbye!
