Eat bugs by all means, but I prefer my Sunday roast. We need to protect the world's farmers and #buylocal If you want to eat bugs then fine, but there must be an affordable choice. #eatbugs ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qNZZrPzuLk
The glute bridge is an effective toning exercise for the buttocks. The glute bridge also works the rest of your core, which includes your abdominals, lower back, hamstrings and hip abductors.
Normally the glute bridge is performed on the floor, but the exercise ball requires some extra balance skills. Variation in any exercise is a good thing!

Keeping the resistance band in tension whilst alternating from front to back mainly works your chest and back (Rhomboids). Resistance bands can be used for a comprehensive, full-body workout that challenges virtually every major muscle group in your body. Resistance bands are lightweight and portable, perfect for traveling. Your muscles quickly adapt to movements you do often (including weight exercises), which is why adding variety to your workouts challenges your muscles.
Stand shoulder width apart.
Knees slightly bent with glutes squeezed tight and stomach in
Grab a medium resistance band and pull out with your arms staying fully down.
Get a comfortable tension and raise above the head, moving down low behind your back (don't touch your body)
Return to start position buy rotating the straight arms back again.
Keep the tension and repeat.
This is a favourite exercise of Jeff Cavaliere at ATHLEAN-X so it must be good as a Resistance Band back exercise!

Pomegranates are great for your #heart with several research studies identifying that the #antioxidants lower blood pressure and reduce arterial plaque. Pomegranates also stimulate the production and release of naturally occurring antioxidants within the body. They also curb overall #inflammation, which would lower the risk of inflammatory conditions like stroke or heart attacks.
Thousands of years of evolution created the perfect protection for the delicious seeds inside a pomegranates. They can be a bit strenuous to open, but are packed with health benefits. They are incredibly versatile too, as you can scatter them into almost any dish. From savoury dishes to preserves and desserts. There's nothing more wonderful than a freshly-squeezed glass of #pomegranate juice.
Pomegranates are great for your teeth.
It contains polyphenols, tannins, ellagic acid and anthocyanins. These compounds are powerful antioxidants. In a study, people who took a pomegranate juice mouthwash reduced dental plaque microorganisms (Streptococcus Mutans and lactobacilli) by 23% and 46%.
Pomegranates boost testosterone and are anti-estrogenic.
Researchers from the UK gave pomegranate juice to men to study the effect on their testosterone levels. After two weeks, the group's testosterone levels increased by an average of 24%. Many testosterone supplements contain pomegranate extracts for this reason.
Ellagic acid and some other phytochemicals found in pomegranates inhibits aromatase. This is important to men and women because aromatase is an enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen, specifically estradiol, which is the most potent estrogen in the human body.
This helps to inhibit the growth of breast cancer in women.
This also reduces gynecomastia, or man-boobs.
It also boosts testosterone in men.

The kettlebell figure of 8 squat a great full body workout that works the arms and shoulders (with a heavy kettlebell), but it mainly works the thighs and glutes. The kettlebell figure of 8 is a great mobility exercise and warm up . When a heavier weights are used for a longer duration, it gives a great conditioning effect as well.

Ballerina jump squats have a variety of health benefits. Squats are actually quite good for the knees if done correctly, as good muscle structure around the knee helps in the knees supporting functions. Adding the jump adds a plyo element to the exercise and the toe balance helps improve balance whilst working the lower legs more

Raises are great for strengthening your shoulders. The core comes into play when you lift and your arms should feel some of the strain after a set. It is best to use both arms in the exercise, so go for light dumbbells (or a kettle bell or resistance band).

#Edema is swelling caused by too much water trapped in the body's tissues. Edema is more likely to show up in the ankles and feet. #Sauna sessions help with this edema by sweating out a large quantity of water and salt. Much of this retention is caused by an imbalance in sodium and potassium levels.

00:18 Sodium and potassium.
00:39 Saunas and sweating.
01:10 Feet elevation.
01:28 High potassium (low sodium) salts
Our bodies depend on the tight regulation of potassium and sodium inside and outside of our cells. The RDA for #Potassium is very high at 4.7g and most people are not getting enough, causing a dominance of sodium, and retention of water in the cells. In a sauna, we sweat common salt and not potassium.
In a typical sauna session of 30 minutes, a person could lose over 1 litre of water via sweat. Plus approximately one teaspoon of salt. Some toxins are also released through sweat. Saunas also help with surface blood flow which can help with puffy tissues. Doctors often treat edema with diuretic drugs, which flush out excess sodium through urine. But they ignore potassium, and also ignore that we can lose sodium via sweat inside a sauna.
If you suffer from edema and are retaining too much water, you can try elevating your feet whilst in the sauna. You can also elevate your feet later on in the day. You will be beating gravity and reducing lower leg swelling. Getting plenty of exercise will help along with some foot and leg massages.
The second thing you should do is to eat a potassium-rich diet and take a high-potassium salt such as LoSalt. You can take this Low sodium salt after the sauna, to replenish your #elecrolytes. When you #hydrate with water after the sauna, the water is less likely to reside in puffy tissues.

Maldon is a historic market town in Essex situated on the UK's Blackwater estuary and has been the home to master salt makers since 1882. Chefs all over the World use it because of the large, uneven, crunchy salt flakes that have a very clean salt taste. It's meant to be liberally sprinkled and not poured from a shaker. Maldon Salt is 99% salt with some traces of moisture, potassium, calcium and magnesium. These trace chemicals are nutritionally insignificant.
Maldon salt isn't a mined salt. It's made by evaporating seawater in large heated salt pans. This produces natural pyramid-shaped crystals of pure salt. The best thing is that they don't add nasty anti-caking chemicals. Standard Table salt is purified and stripped of minerals, and then infused with anti-caking agents. Typical table salt contains 97.5% sodium chloride and 2.5% anti-caking agents such as sodium aluminosilicate, and sodium or potassium ferrocyanide. Check the label on your table salt, and if it says, anti-caking agent 554, it will contain aluminium.
Instead of buying those tiny plastic salt shakers from the supermarket, why not invest in a big tub of Maldon Salt and a good old-fashioned salt pig? You can even practice the famous Salt Bae sprinkle.
