This has been requested for some time by several people and will be available in the 1.4.2 release. It has been implemented as an additional setting for the "Freefly" camera. Toggle on "Lock On Target" to have the camera always point at an actor. You can still move around using the same controls as before. You can now setup motion sequences by editing sequence files in plain text. The benefit over the playlist is that the motions in the sequence are loaded at once, so there is no lag when switching motions. And it blends between different motions to make it smooth and continuous. It just feels like a single smooth motion.
