Let's take a look at upgrading from Fedora 23 to Fedora 24. For me at least, it worked incredibly well, better than any Fedora upgrade that I've ever done in the past. After looking at the upgrade procedure, we'll do a quick overview of th LXDE spin of Fedora, with the default desktop configuration. Here at BeginLinux Guru, we're all about Linux.
In "systemd Basics Part 1", we'll cover the "systemctl poweroff" and "systemctl reboot" commands. We'll also see how you can still use the old "shutdown" commands for more flexibility with administering your Linux servers. For both present and aspiring Linux systems administrators, learning systemd is an absolute must.

Bride sites, whether they be Russian bride sites, Ukrainian bride sites, Asian brides sites, Latina bride sites, or whatever else, appeal to desperate single guys, especially to older ones. But, are they legitimate? Watch the video to see.
Computer security and IT security are about more than the technology. It's also about securing the human. Trust me, cybersecurity awareness is extremely important.

A common question for Linux beginners is, "Which distro should I start with?" The answer really depends upon what you want to do with Linux. Do you want to set up a Linux desktop or Linux workstation? Do you want to learn enterprise Linux server administration? Or, do you want to learn something that can be used for cloud deployments? The answer to which Linux distro you should learn will depend upon your desired use-case secenario. For Linux desktops, there's a whole range of choices, depending upon your own tastes. For Linux servers and Linux cloud deployments, your choices are much narrower.
Hopefully, this will help you choose the best linux distro for beginners.

As a bonus, I'll even show you how a Linux administrator can save time by seeing in one spot where everyone has stored a cron job.

In this Linux tutorial for beginners, we'll look at two Linux tools for viewing Linux system information. We'll use the Linux lspci command to view information about what you have connected to the pci bus, and the Linux lsusb command to view information about what you have connected to the USB bus.
Note that these two Linux commands generally show up on entry-level Linux certification exams, so you'll want to know about them for both real life and for passing your exam.

Red Hat has announced changes to their free-of-charge Red Hat Developers subscription to kind-of appease users of CentOS Linux. For Linux administrators who currently use CentOS in production, plans are still in the works. Will the new plans take Red Hat from a $1 billion company to a $10 billion company? I'll share my thoughts in this BeginLinux Guru video.
