In this episode I’m joined by Michelle Evans to discuss the landscape girls face in light of increasing forms of sex-based oppression and the role parents are playing in protecting children in and out of schools. Michelle shares how she became active in combating gender ideology, the damaging messages sent when children are ‘socially transitioned,’ and the sacrifices girls are forced to make as female-only spaces diminish in schools. We discuss the insidious games being played behind the scenes of school board meetings, the attack on parental rights - including the overreach of schools identifying kids as "trans" - and some of the current weaknesses that we must overcome to take effective action against trans ideology. Michelle shares her successes organizing both single issue groups and larger groups with other concerned parents and community members, and offers invaluable insight for those wanting to take action. Michelle is a married mother of three, fitness coach, small business owner, and fierce advocate for families. Her career was in social services before she focused more on political advocacy. She is adamant that women and girls have value and a unique contribution to the world, and is running as a State Representative in Texas to preserve women-only spaces. Was it a man? A 'trans man'? Are they a man pretending to be a woman or a woman pretending to be a man? It makes you wonder if the confusion is actually a critical part of constructing a narrative where trans-identified people can't be held accountable for their actions, and in fact, today's guest Robbie Rose points out that CBS was intentionally not reporting the sex of shooter Audrey Hale, just as the media obscured the identity of trans-identified female school shooter Alex McKinney in Colorado, in 2019. Robbie returns to the podcast for an enlightening discussion of the profiles of school shooters in recent history. She points out that most school shooters were bullied for being gay (whether or not they were) and that they also often struggled with autism and behavioral problems. Society's answer to mental health issues is to medicate these children and young adults, and Robbie notes that these people are being given a cocktail that has never been tested - one of antidepressants, mood stabilizers, legal methamphetamines and more recently, steroids in the form of synthetic testosterone. Robbies takes us through a concise history of autism, causes of traumatic brain injury and asks why the media never seems to highlight the fact that these people are highly medicated and if trans ideology might in fact be a coverup for widespread legal poisoning. You may be aware of the prevalence of pornography, the way it’s crept into popular media and normalized the objectification of women and girls, but today’s guest, writer and activist Caitlin Roper is bringing news from the outer limits of male sexual entitlement. In this episode we explore an emerging threat in the exploitation of women and girls, sex robots and sex abuse dolls. Caitlin notes that life-like sex abuse dolls, including ones modeled after infants, toddlers, and children, have been available for sale on popular platforms like Etsy, Alibaba and Amazon. Apologists will say ‘better these men should do this to a doll than to a real woman or girl,’ but for Roper, this logic does not hold up to scrutiny. In her new book Sex Dolls, Robots & Woman Hating, Caitlin says that sex dolls and robots have actually created even more opportunity for exploitation, including the production of sex abuse dolls made to look like specific children and instagram influencers.
