After a 14 year hiatus due to career obligations in the Navy, I returned to Dragon Con in Atlanta, GA in the year of our Lord 2023. Although it took a bit of convincing to make the long drive and commit my entire weekend, I'm so glad I ended up going, because this nerd party was even better than I remembered. While having a classic "Man, the last time I was here-" chat with my buddy Chris, I was reminded of a video I made of my previous Dragon Con attendance in 2009...
I had filmed a bit of the secret after-hours Dethklok panel put on by my old buds in Fail Nobra and edited a video together for em, but this had been about 9 hard drive's ago, and I didn't even know if this file still existed. After a dive into my archives, sure enough, there it be! This is an absolute potato of a video made with love from the days of classic Windows Movie Maker. So for posterity and pure nostalgia, please enjoy this window into Dragon Con past!
